The main research problem deals with the use of creative concepts in advertisements which is a mass media issue and therefore contributes to the existing knowledge in communication studies. 3.1 Relevance Advertising is directly related to marketing which makes the issue relevant to communication science. 3.2 Researchability The issue can be researched by collecting and exploring the creative concepts of eight different advertisements from two different media publications. It is therefore researchable due to the fact that data can be collected. 3.3 Feasibility The investigation is feasible as there are not many resources necessary, and it is easy and inexpensive to purchase two media publications. 3.4 Ethics The research deals with eight randomly selected advertisements to avoid any bias in sampling. .
