This chapter begins with topics regarding typical teen’s behavior, related teenage issues, parental power, and lastly, the main concerns of the parents. This research also covers various effects of friends, relationship, vices and the responsibilities and responsibilities of both teens and parents are discussed. Teenage Issues: Teenage years are known by trying on liberty and independence through experimentation. They tend to have more trust and confidence by thinking that they have enough idea on what is good and what is bad. As for the parents, typical teen behavior includes many things that seems strange them. I.e. colored hair, odd piercings, strange music, how you dress and even new friends these are all part of growing up for some teens. And some teenagers choose this period in life as time to experiment with alcohol, smoking, drugs, and sometimes sexual activities. Also, According to Martin Green, Teenage years are a stressful time as the body goes through a number of changes. The hormone your body begins to produce allows you to procreate, and they also change your appearance as well as your behavior. Exams, dating, getting into college, death of a relative, family instability, social pressures, arguments and pressures to achieve are some examples of the causes of the stress that leads to hormonal imbalance in teenagers.
