Many parents find that public schools simply do not fit their students’ needs. In such cases, parents have to research schools that will fulfill not only their students’ needs, but also their own. Some families find that Charter schools, and Private schools are the two best choices. While some students find that main stream schooling is the right option for themselves, some students find that they are not reaching their full potential at public schools. Depending on the student at hand, and the families financial situation, private or charter schools could be the right choice. After all, each student is different in what they need as a learner.

With the busy lifestyles we have today, juggling parenting, working, and school can be overwhelming so having the structure of a traditional setting may work best. For some, they may prefer this organized method. Social interaction is a factor in traditional learning as well. A student would always have face-to-face interaction with his/her classmates as well as with the instructors. Some students would prefer the more instant feedback and expressions as well as to read body language of those they are interacting with. They would have hands on experiences and learning available to him/her. This learning environment would also provide extracurricular activities such as, sporting events and book fairs. For most, this way has been our only type of experience with education and for some students; a deviation from this method of learning can cause anxiety, fear, and frustration. Obviously someone who does not adapt to change easily should probably stick with the traditional education.

Thesis Statement: Many parents question what is best for their child’s education, home schooling or public school. Home schooling can sometimes provide a more direct and focused education than public schools, Public School is better in many ways including the child’s social development.

It also helps students to gain abundant knowledge for a college or university and prepare them for a future life. In the present tense, the system allows students to learn at home the same material as in schools. Many students decide to switch to be home or cyber schooled because they can sleep longer, and there would not be negative impacts on them from the school system. My sister Anhelina, goes to Neshaminy High School she is currently a ninth grade student. Every morning she wakes up at 5:45 AM to get ready for school. When it is still dark and cold outside she walks to her bus stop that is a block away. It is very hard for her to wake up that early and right now she thinks that she is not getting enough attention from her teachers. She also says that it is very boring in most of her classes, so she is thinking to switch to cyber school. What I think about this situation that my sister is going through is that it would be better for her to be cyber-schooled. Some of our friends are cyber schooled, and they say that it is better than public schools. They do not have to wake up that early and go to school every day. Also, they have more time for themselves and they are more positive students who are not annoyed with school. When you are being cyber schooled you gain more knowledge and tend to do more work than you would do in a 45 minutes class in public

Education is a very important part of a person’s life. Every parent want the best thing for their children. In the U.S., there are three types of school: public school, charter school and private school. Private schools are usually very selective, has better performance than government-funded school and has expensive tuition fee. Years ago, the only way to earn a degree was within the confines of a brick and mortar classroom. Today, one can earn a degree from an institution 3000 miles away, from the comfort of one's own home! While classroom learning is always an option, many are finding it much easier to maintain their family, their career and pursue a college career at the same time by pursuing a degree via online learning. Learning via traditional classroom or online is a financial, strategic and personal decision for each student. This paper will compare and contrast these two options as well as provide a discussion on the merits and drawbacks of both. I contend that for many adults, online learning is the practical way to earn a degree while still maintaining their current lifestyle.
