Iron Man vs. Captain America
Who is better, Tony Stark (a.k.a Iron Man) or Steve Rodgers (a.k.a Captain America)? They’re both heroes in their own rights and they’ve achieved great accomplishments. But in the end, who’s the better hero? Both Tony Stark and Steve Rodgers are great heroes, but when it comes down to it, Tony Stark is better than Steve Rodgers.
Heroes mostly fight all the time, so how do Tony Stark and Steve Rodgers fight? To start off, they both have armor they use during fights. Tony Stark’s armor is the Iron Man suit, which is made out of titanium alloy (which is very strong). Steve Rodgers also has armor, a shield, and its made out of the strongest element found on Earth; Vibranium (Fiege and Johnston, 2011, Captain America:

Firstly, both Stark and Rodgers are smart. However Stark is a nuclear physicist, an engineer, and a scientist. On the other hand, Rodgers is street smart, he’s great at improvising, and he’s very good at planning while on his feet. Rodgers thinks on his feet while Stark plans ahead. Secondly, they’re both selfless. Stark doesn’t seem selfless, but when it comes down to it, he is. Because Stark was the one who flew the nuke through a wormhole to another galaxy and saved the Earth from an alien invasion (Fiege and Whedon, 2012, The Avengers). While Rodgers is the embodiment of true selflessness, when he was recruited in the army, his colonel tested him by throwing a dummy grenade while he and his squad were training (Fiege and Johnston, 2011, Captain America: The First Avenger). And Rodgers was the only one who used his body to cover the grenade so the explosion wouldn’t harm his squad. Lastly, heroes always receive, but they must also give respect. Stark is someone who defies that rule and Rodgers is someone who accepts it. Although neither of them likes it. Stark is someone who is very honest of expressing himself in a very demeaning manner, while Rodgers is more polite and professional around others, and these two personality types can split the world in
When someone thinks of a superhero, they think of someone that is strong and immortal. Someone that can’t be defeated yet, they go into battle with as much bravery as someone that goes into battle knowing they CAN be defeated. Every superhero has traits that make them great, but they also differ in many things as well. Although Captain America and Beowulf are similar in their weaknesses, strengths, and bravery, they also differ in their motivations, character traits, and heroics, making Captain America the better hero.
Sam Vs. Dean: Which is the better character? Brothers Sam and Dean Winchester are both “hunters” living in the shadow of their ancestors. These two demon hunting, monster killing “hunters” are from the well known TV show, Supernatural. Though both do the same work the way they go about it is very different.
All heroes embody a common characteristic which is altruism. Even though they share the same quality, they developed it through various ways: through their challenges, their obstacles, and their approaches. Realistic heroes such as Abraham Lincoln, Jillian Michaels, and Jake Olson demonstrated selflessness through the breaking their barriers and performing actions that would benefit mankind. In contrast, fictional heroes like Odysseus and Rainsford depicted philanthropic by enduring obstacles on their journey. That eventually led them to find the urge to perform actions in an unconventional way that helped others. Both realistic and fictional heroes evolve to become altruistic after experiencing some kind of problem.

At the beginning of the film, his life can be describes as extravagant, but after he is kidnapped by the new-found troop, he has some changes on his character trait. After Tony survives from the new-found troop, he decides to shut down his weapon manufactory. Next, he tries to put his focus on the iron armor, he wants to make some useful products to benefit the society rather than keep his weapon business because his weapons in different hands will have different results, some of them bring disaster to the world. The characters of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde have completely opposite personalities. As Dr. Jekyll seems to be mentally sound, Mr. Hyde is unstable. Dr. Jekyll is pleasant to look at, while people turn away in disgust from Mr. Hyde. Where Dr. Jekyll is an upstanding citizen, Mr. Hyde is evil. These two, distinct personalities show the duality of man.
If you were to compare Tony Stark to Bruce Wayne again, they are similar in the way that they are both billionaire geniuses who use their money to fight crime. Their background stories are a little different, because of Bruce’s tragic upbringing after his parents were murdered. There are many comic book characters who become the hero they are because of a tragedy, like Spider Man and the death of Uncle Ben. Some heroes are a little different such as the Green Lanterns, they usually don’t have this devastating past; they are given a ring if they are found worthy, or Thor, who was born a God.
They must decide if they want to sign an act that will make them reveal their secret identities to the government, which has the chance of getting hacked and endangering their loved ones, or resisting to sign the act and keep their identities secret. Captain America leads a resistance force that opposes the act that is brought into play as he openly opposes the act thinking that it takes away freedom from those who are willing to risk their lives to protect others. Meanwhile Iron Man believes that the heroes need to be regulated and trained if they want to be out using their powers to save others. This would mean giving up the freedom of having lives outside of their hero roles as the government would always know who they are and, if they wanted to they could exterminate them at any point. Captain America is a man who represents america a country that was found u[on freedom from all types of discrimination. Captain America will fight for the freedom of others to do as they wish to the point that he would pay the ultimate sacrifice to protect their freedom, but then you must ask yourself is it really worth
Absolute good can not be achieved without selflessness. This is seen in every form of fictional literature through the situations that the characters are placed in. For example, the book Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien follows a group of adventurers attempting to destroy a powerful ring in an effort to rid Middle Earth from evil. Additionally, the movie Interstellar similarly follows a crew looking for a planet to replace a dying Earth for a humanity that is suffering widespread famine. In both of these adventure many acts of heroism are displayed, and all of these acts require selflessness from the hero. In examining these acts, it is seen
All throughout my childhood, I had an extreme fascination with heroes, especially superheroes. Despite my complete distain of spiders, I wanted to shoot webs from my wrists and swing around the town all day long like Spider-Man. After the release of the Iron Man movie, I wanted nothing more than to be clever enough to build a full metal suit. Now that I am older, it is incredibly hard for me to decide which I would rather be. Both ended up in epic battles - like Spider-Man and the Sandman, and Iron Man (and the rest of the Avengers) against a whole fleet of an alien army. Although either of their lives are desirable, several of their attributes, such as their identities, their powers, how they acquired them, and their personalities
Publicly stating he is Iron man: By revealing he is Iron man, Tony takes credit for all
The character’s name was Anthony Stark, but was known as Tony (Admin1). Tony Stark was an engineer who suffered from a heart injury when he was kidnapped by a group of terrorists. He created a suit of armor that empowered his escape, and helps in protecting the world. Tony Stark is a very witty character. Tony uses sarcasm throughout many comic books, and all of his movies.
People always have debates about whether Marvel Or DC is a better and who has the better superheroes. Both comic book companies have had great superheroes, and some are better than others. The Flash and Quicksilver both have similarities but they also have many differences. A lot of factors go into deciding what makes a superhero better than another, including things like their origin story, their powers, and their villains.
During the beginning of the film, Steve is asked “Do you wants to kill Nazi’s?” by Dr. Erskine, this question is a test to see if he is fit to take the super-soldier serum. Steve answers, “I don’t like bullies. I don’t care where they come from.” By not giving into the obvious violent answer, Steve is challenging the masculine code that men need to be violent. This is what makes Captain America different from other
To begin, a doctor, named Dr. Erskine, from New York, New York created Captain America in 1941. This was a time when Americans were very proud of their nation and centered everything around World War II. The community was mostly anti-German, since Germany was one of the three countries America was battling during World War II. Captain America, who was known as Steve Rogers before he transformed over, was a scrawny boy who failed to meet the requirements to join the military. Eager to join, Steve Rogers volunteered himself for an operation that Dr. Erskine planned to conduct, which would alter his physique to that of a super human. After ingesting the “Super Soldier Serum,” Steve Rogers transformed into Captain America. His muscles and reflexes were greatly enhanced, as well as his height and frame. An agent from Nazi, Germany assassinated Dr. Erskine because he
Finally, Tony Stark’s most obvious change was simply in becoming a superhero. From the start of the movie, Stark was a rich, self-interested playboy who would be more concerned over a scratch on the finish of his Audi R8 than the fate of the free world unless it benefitted him. Taking a completely different direction, Tony used his Iron Man suit to pursue those who wrongfully used Stark Industries weapons. Stark even stated, “I shouldn't be alive... unless it was for a reason. I'm not crazy, Pepper. I just finally know what I have to do. And I know in my heart that it's right”. (Iron Man) This
