A trip to Walt Disney World can be a dream come true for many individuals. Disney is comprised of four parks that visitors have to choose from when planning their trip to this magical destination. Two parks include the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. While both EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom are similar in that they provide theme park experiences that include rides, entertainment, and culinary experiences. The actual experiences when dissected have very pronounced differences, with EPCOT having a more educational and cultural focus, and Magic Kingdom has the more typical Disney themed encounters.

Magic Kingdom always has a parade and Mickey Mouse can be found performing on stage at various times of the day. From live entertainment to various types of interactive entertainment both parks provide ample opportunity to hear and experience all the sights and sounds of Disney. However, there are some differences within these experiences. For example, EPCOT has many live band performances from bands that have been very popular in the past. Parades are found at Magic Kingdom as well as more opportunities to meet the characters of Disney for entertainment, while at EPCOT there is the prospect to learn about the various countries and see some famous artwork from the different countries. An article from the undercover tourist indicates that for younger children and toddlers the best spot for entertainment is at the Magic Kingdom. The famous ears that are covered in chocolate with delicious vanilla ice cream are available at both these parks. Additionally, you can find popcorn and other typical snacks that are found at many theme parks. However, if you are looking for Dole Whips and a big Turkey Leg head for the Magic Kingdom. For the culture of eating around the world, then a trip to EPCOT would be the way to venture. While both provide amazing culinary opportunities, Magic Kindom will have the difference of traditional cuisine vs. more of the cultural experience at EPCOT. EPCOT has the food and wine show every year, providing an opportunity to sample food from around the world. Both parks do provide an opportunity to participate in the dinning plan through Walt Disney and both parks allow and recommend reservations for the restaurants that have service at the table. As everyone always says, Disney World is the happiest place on earth, but for Iowans' we have Adventureland, where we are sure to have a fun filled day. To us Iowans', Disney World and Adventure are the two best theme parks we've ever known of! Walt Disney World resort and Universal Orlando resort are two popular theme park destinations which provide enjoyment to many worldwide visitors on a daily basis. Although both resorts share similarities, they also have numerous differences which set them apart from each other – creating a unique vacation experience for each visitor.
Epcot opened October 1st, 1982. Epcot was inspired by a futuristic world of tomorrow, and although that community did not come to fruition as he imagined, Epcot is dedicated to the celebration of human achievement, namely technological innovation and international culture and is often referred to as a permanent world’s fair. (The community he envisioned would be built years later and be known as Celebration – the town that Disney built.) The park is divided into two section – future world and the world showcase. With nearly 12 million guest in 2015, it is the third most sixth most visited theme park in the world. The park is represented by Spaceship Earth, a geodesic sphere that also serves as an attraction. Future World consists of a variety of pavilions that explore innovative aspects and application including technology and science, with each pavilion featuring self-contained attraction.
