Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton The 2016 campaign was one of the most memorable campaigns in America. It Was because of Donald Trump and the way in which he attacked his opponent. Trump wasted no time in going after Hillary Clinton during the campaign. Back in 2016 when Hillary was running for president, she somehow took her past for granted and it came after her like a shadow. Donald Trump went after her Email scandal which had leaded the Federal Bureau of Investigation F.B.I, to look more into the Email scandal. like any opponent will do in an election Trump place a campaign ad against the former secretary of state. The name of the campaign ad was unfit, which meant in Trump understanding Hillary Clinton was unfit to run for president.
The ad started with, “Decades of lies, cover-ups and scandal have finally caught up with Hillary Clinton”. When he said this in the ads many American were stone and wanted to know more about Hillary. With the public curiosity going up every day the second investigation had open on Hillary about her Email. This time around, it was because of pervert Anthony Weiner, the F.B.I found her emails on Weiner’s laptop. This ad was

The ad was call, “We are American” Hillary show how Donald Trump has no respect for people and woman. He even said at some point that he would like to punch someone in the face. The ad shows a very moving photo of a little girl with the American flag in the background. In my opinion this was a negative ad because of the way in which Donald Trump was mocking the disabled reporter. After saying making fun out of the reporter, Trump said, “I look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers” to a little girl. After he said this, it made me feel bad and the way in which he was going after woman. Hillary message in this ad was Clare, “strong and united
The ad is in the colors of grey and white in what it looks to be an isolated bathroom or showers. The floors look dirty as if no one been there for a long time. In this ad there are three young adult women and three young adult men. It can be assumed by the ways these ladies and men were dressed it was summer. The ladies are dressed in white, one of them having a laced dress with a flower near the shoulder. The other lady is laying on the floor with a sleeveless blouse and along with mini skirt. The other lady is against the wall and is wearing very short pants and a blouse that is half see through. Two of the young men are only wearing white jeans without a shirt, the other man is wearing a white blazer over his shoulders, blue jeans and sneakers. Dolce & Gabbana are selling their summer clothes collection. At least that is what a person will expect just passing through the pages of a magazine. For another person that is looking at the subliminal message could find the ad as promoting violence against women.
With the presidential election coming to a close, the campaigns of Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump are doing their best to attract voters now more than ever. The question is, who will be more successful? When analyzed in detail the Hilary Clinton campaign is appealing to their targeted audience in a way that makes her campaign more successful.
As the next election is soon to approaching I have noticed that the presidential nominees are no more than a joke to the other people that have served this great country as the presidents of the united states.
Within the advertisement they broadcast systemically reenforced and exaggerated a large number of stereotypes about both men and women. Some may wonder, however, how this really effects everyday life. If someone sees so many ads in a day what is one more, one that is just a bit more sexist than the typical beer ad. While this it is true that the average person is overstimulated by the number of ads as it is there is still something to be said for the content of the ads. Even if a person doesn’t mentally acknowledge them the brain still notes them and stores them in the brain. If time after time one sees women in the submissive role or treated as objects, chances are they will start subconsciously believing it. On the other hand if men are constantly portrayed as stupid and hormone driven then that bias will start to seep into reality. There are also significant moral issues with this ad, if time after time women are portrayed simply as a visual feast it changes how they will be treated for the rest of their lives. Next time they walk down the street theres a chance a man may catcall her, acknowledging the fact that she was in some way appealing to him. He doesn’t do this because she is smart, funny or kind he does this simply because he was pleased by her appearance and may even think he is complementing her. However, by doing this he reenforces what the media has
The material stated in the ad affects Hillary, people will start to view her as a liar. The last part that he states, “Clinton has faced numerous criminal investigations and 60 percent of Americans think she's not honest” here Trump starts using statistics against her. Trump gets a boost in his campaign because he has over half the American population pondering about having a dishonest president in office. Also he has proof withe the FBI director that she has many criminal investigations. That made many Americans think twice about her, nobody wants a criminal or liar in office.
It states “ Don’t let Hillary leave you defenseless.” This line is displayed on the screen with police cars in front of the woman's house. It is spoken out loud by the narrator to add to its effectiveness. It is the very same line as the title and the whole purpose. By displaying it with the police cars it brings up fear and the viewers begin to associate the bad outcome of the advertisement with Hillary Clinton’s policies. No one wants to feel unsafe in this world and it can be a very scary thing to feel unprotected in your own
During the election between Lyndon B. Johnson and Barry Goldwater, there was tension due to the Cold War. Goldwater supported the use of nuclear weapons while others did not agree. Johnson used some of Goldwater’s statements against him to persuade the voters that his intentions for this country were menacing. The advertisement illustrated how the United States would look promoting nuclear weapons, if his opponent was president. This became a focused attack towards Goldwater. Audiences possibly viewed him as a threat and panicked that it would result to violence and more wars. This clip can possibly be the reason why Johnson won the election, seeing that he gave misleading information on his fellow candidate. The advertisement was quick and
Despite this change in demeanor, Trump counters the allegations against him with scathing attacks. While referring to the Lewinsky scandal he says that “I think its disgraceful and I think that she [Clinton] should be ashamed of herself.” Trump contends that Clinton is a dishonest criminal. He suggests that he will appoint a special prosecutor to investigate missing emails and other mishandled documents. Trump addresses Bernie Sanders on multiple occasions suggesting that the Democratic primary was rigged and exclaiming that “I was so surprised to see him [Sanders] sign on with the devil [Clinton].” He succeeds in diverting from the issues regarding his own character and moves to control much of the debate. Rather than apologizing, Trump moves to control the
This years presidential election might be the closest in US history! Donald Trump is the Republican candidate. He received 13.3 million votes in the primary election. Hillary Clinton is the Democratic candidate. She received 15.6 million votes in the primary election. This presidential election is very close in votes and either way could cause doom for America.
In “Unfit”, Clinton uses fallacious arguments in order to attack her opponent’s ethos and ultimately suggest Trump’s propensity to have a ruinous effect on the nation. Ramage reveals that ethos is focused on the writer’s character and “refers to the credibility of the writer.” Clinton, in her commercial, uses various quotes, from reliable sources, which depict Trump with very little ethical appeal. For instance, in the commercial, columnist Charles Krauthamer remarks, “You have to ask yourself, do I want a person of that temperament in control of the nuclear codes? And as of now, I’d have to say no”
The two canadities I picked are Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush. Hillary Cinton is a Democrat who is running for president. Some of her strengths are she has nearly one hundred percent name recogntition. She also has a built in base of support among working class women. Her strongest supporters are working class women. Other strong supporters are people who were big fans of Bill Clinton when he was in office. Some weakness she has iss trying to appeal to the coalition of blacks and young college educated white voters who supported obama. She also declared her presidency in 2007 but was defeated by Barrack Obama. She also needs to be able to represent the future and not the past. Also she’s a trained attorney; former secretary of State in the Obama administration; former senator from New York; and former
In light of election day soon approaching, Clinton releases a critical advertisement to air in undecided states: the ad uses juxtaposition to craft an unflattering idea of Trump in her attempt to sway voters towards the Democratic party. The advertisement is composed of snippets of girls of all ages, ethnicities, and builds analyzing
President Obama tells the world that we can face the challenges that we are faced with if we belief. In the three ad I chose President Obama attacks McClain about his healthcare decisions and goes on to explain to the audience what to expect if McClain is elected for president. He explains that McClain is a risk the world would take if elected for president. In the ad President Obama really sticks it to McClain because at the time of the election healthcare was a very important item that was being questioned so President Obama made his audience believe that with choosing him for president these were the things they did not have to worry about. In my fourth ad I chose it was very entertaining with music and President Obama explaining to the world that “YES WE CAN” prepares the world for challenge, yes we can heal the world, yes we can stop the war, and yes we can provide better healthcare for our country. He goes into explaining that for so long we can been told that we could not do these things but with change we will be able to do these things. He also states that we will be one country and not
The advertisement consisted of just one man, Joe Soptic, an ex-steel plant worker, of GST Steel, speaking against Mitt Romney. He personally points blame on Romney for the death of his wife. He says that when “Mitt Romney and Bain closed the plant, I lost my health care,
In 2013, UN Women launched an ad campaign that revealed the prevalent and rampant sexism and discrimination against women worldwide. Memac Ogilvy and Mather Dubai, the creators of the advertisement, placed authentic Google search text boxes over the mouth of the woman pictured, as if to silence her voice. By using a Muslim woman in a hijab, real searches via Google, and highlighting the true, subconscious feelings and attitude of the audience, the advertisement attempts to expose the negative biases towards women, ranging from stereotypes to blatant denial of their rights.
