Evolution vs. Creation
Creation and Evolution are two major beliefs that people follow as a guideline. The two philosophies have different effects on our lives and the make up who we are and what we do. I will compare these two philosophies and show that they are totally opposite of each other and cannot go hand in hand.
Creation is a belief followed by many people and the Holy Bible serves as a guideline and a set of instructions to show how the earth was formed and to guide us through life. Science backs up this Holy Book it is a very reliable source of the history of the world.
Evolution cannot be clearly explained unless it is defined into two categories. Macro Evolution is one part of evolution,

This theory of evolution all started with the devil in the beginning of the history of the earth, in the King James Version of the Bible. Genesis chapter three, verse 4-5 states that “4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall surely not die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as Gods, knowing good and evil.
The Devil deceived Adam and Eve, stating that they would be like Gods, and the concept of Evolution is teaching people that they have no one to answer to; they are their own Gods. The Devil is the one that wants to deceive us in believing this.
Evolution is teaching us that we are getting better from when we first evolved from a rock. Creation is the opposite, man is the one that let sin into the world and because of this he is slowly getting poorer in quality as time goes by and he is exposed to sin. To back up this point the second law of thermodynamics is: Everything tends to disorder. Nothing gets better without assistance, but God said that he would come back, get rid of sin and the devil, and make the world perfect again without
There have been many theories of evolution and how it is brought about and what it is exactly. Charles Darwin a scientist who came up with his theory of evolution and how it works. Darwin felt as though evolution to him was that it occurred through natural selection. Natural selection is the process of only traits that will survive are passed to the next generation. Species selection operates on variation provided by the largely random process of speciation and favors species that speciate at high rates or survive for long periods and therefore tend to leave many daughter species (Stanley, 1975 ). So Darwin believed that the next generations of animals or different species were created by taking only the traits of species
The central idea of evolution is that organisms grow and change to become better over time.
Since the beginning of the human race there has been a lingering question as to the origins of man and how all living things acquired their characteristics. The two main theories that arose over time were Creationism and Evolution, both of which provided very distinct answers to this question. Creationism based its answer on the idea of a supernatural power or being that created the entire universe, man and the numerous other organisms that live within it. While, Evolution theorizes that all living things have the potential to change and grow over time into something new and different. So in other words, one theory suggests that humans and all the organisms on Earth are the result of divine design, while the other indicates that they
Evolution is “the idea that species change over time and have a common ancestry”(Parks, 2014). According to Charles Darwin theory of evolution, “is that all species came from one single source and over time, we have adapted to our environment for survival during the history of the Earth.” It's a fact that since human kind entered the world, up until this day we have evolved to suit a different kind of world. As to say we went from a simple kind of form and progressed into a more complex form in other words, we are still evolving to this day. “The idea that biological species, including humans, have changed over time and have given rise to other species can be traced all the way back to the ancient Greek philosophers. Our present-day understanding
The ongoing scientific investigation of how exactly evolution occurred and continues to occur has been an argumentative idea amongst society since Darwin first articulated it over a century ago. The scientific basis of evolution accounts for happenings that are also essential concerns of religion; both religion and science focus on the origins of humans and of biological diversity. For instance, in the reading “Truth Cannot Contradict Truth,” Pope John Paul II, addressing the Pontifical Academy of Science, discussed the matter of God as creator of man. The Pope explains that men cannot relate to animals because men are superior. The reasoning for that is because God created humans under his likeness. What the church is saying about mankind
Throughout history, there has been a major debate on the theory of evolution. Is it true? The term evolution has been defined many ways, and for the purpose of this paper, I will use the fourth definition from the Merriam-Webster dictionary. “Evolution is the descent with modification from preexisting species: cumulative inherited change in a population of organisms through time leading to the appearance of new forms: the process by which new species or populations of living things develop from preexisting forms through successive generations.” (Merriam-Webster, 2017) What does this mean and how could it possibly be true? In this paper, I will explain the different ideas
It is known as one of the slowest natural processes on Earth. It took roughly 3 million years for protein molecules to evolve into complex one celled organisms. However, it can be sped up by human intervention. One of these examples being the dog species. This form of evolution took about 10 thousand years to complete the first tamed dog. Over the centuries, our ancestors selected dogs to breed based on specific behavioral and physical properties. This includes docility, aggression, strength and so on. If we do this system for multiple generations then it will make a desirable species. The same thing happens in nature. An animal will live or die based on behavioral and physical attributes, and through time, new and better species emerge. Many argue that god created all species on Earth but this is a fact, tested through time, that species can be made through natural selection or human intervention. This is what Darwin argued; that there is a long process that changes species throughout
I hope that I have further informed you on this huge worldwide argument on two different popular beliefs. There are many different interpretations of Creationism and Evolution. Now you can take your side of this major
Today many scientists would have people to believe that evolution is the only reasonable explanation of the universe. Scientists, like Stephen Hawking, claim that they have proved that evolution is the correct answer to the origins of life and the universe, yet evolution is still a theory. This problem occurs because evolution is not the only answer. In fact, the creation theory offers a more feasible answer to the origins of the universe than the evolution theory does. Creation has the backings of the Bible, an extraordinarily credible book; where evolution provides a theory with many holes in it.
Remember that old book called …… what was it again? Oh, yeah, the Bible; well it was right. Evolution is not correct, and I have God and science to back me up. Proof in finding this information is in abundance for both believers and non-believers in God. Now days, anything is possible.
The book of Genesis is often referred to as the book of beginnings. Genesis is the first book that begins the Old Testament, it is also the first book of the entire Bible. The Lord also began the world in the book of Genesis, He made the heavens and the earth, man and woman. In Genesis chapters one through eleven, the Bible teaches us stories that most of us have grown up hearing in Sunday School such as the creation account, Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah and the flood and the tower of Babel. In this book of beginnings, we are shown some of Gods characteristics; we see that God is love and He showed His love by creating us and the world, on the other extreme, we also see the wrath of God. Through these teachings, we are able to see that God ultimately in control and holds everything in His balance. The stories of Genesis aren’t just stories; they are real life accounts that can help build and shape a worldview on things regarding the natural world, human identity, human relationships and civilization.
Then we come to “The mixing of evolution and theology sometimes results in a theory called theistic evolution. The theory posits that through the process of evolution, God gradually developed life forms until finally they became human beings.” (Zinke, 2014) Theistic evolution is the proposition that God is in charge of the biological process. That God instructs the revealing of life and matter over a time span of millions of years.
Evolution has been debated for many years. Most scientists assume evolution to be true, but it is not officially proven. Evolution is known as “fact and theory,” because it is a fact that organisms have changed over time, but the mechanism that changes those organisms is uncertain. One of the major debates regarding evolution is the belief in creationism. Creationists believe that the Universe and organisms on Earth were all created by a divine power. There are also some theories in which creationism and evolution coexist. One idea is that the divine being who created the world used evolution as a method. Another idea is that science and religion are actually the same thing and religion explains the unknown parts of science. For example, science says that the world couldn’t have been created in seven days, but one of God’s days may not be the same length
Evolution is the modification of characteristics of living organisms over generations (StrangeScience.net, 2015); it is the gradual process of development by which the present diversity of living organisms arose from the earliest forms of life, which is believed to have been ongoing for at least the past 3000 million years (Hine, 2004). Common ancestry are groups of living organisms that share the most recent common ancestor, by which scientific evidence proves that all life on Earth are descendants from the previous universal ancestor (DarwinWasRight.org, 2015). Additionally, opposing theories against Evolution, primarily the Christianity religion, explain that God is the ‘creator’ and is the source of all existence.
There is no debate that the world's first power of surviving relies on evolution, to a point where one does not have to look outside the box to witness it ... they're sitting on it. Many have mistaken the term "Evolution" with a state of randomness, an improvement or even a biogenesis. Others have related it to the origins of the universe, a social Darwinism that resulted in a massive diversity regarding theory and ideology. While people choose to rest their bodies on a chair in attempt to find an answer to its definition, some have rested their minds and accepted the fact that it only means change over time. It's no question that life on earth is related through common descent and has been changing for a long time, yet the real conflict
