The golden trout’s skin is a gradient, ranging from deep blue to turquoise to gray on its top to shimmering gold on its bottom. My critter is fish. The name of the fish is called the Goldfish Saurus meaning it is half dinosaur and half guppy. This type of fish is a hunting fish, it mainly eats and kills tiny animals. It lives in the deep seas of the Pacific Oceans. The Goldfish Saurus hibernate for half a year, it likes to sleep in little burrows of seaweed. The Goldfish Saurus eats small fish and baby octopi and squids that is smaller than itself. It kills its prey by using the scaly fins on top of his back to directly jab its opponent. For self defence the Goldfish Saurus The tail of the Goldfish Saurus is very strong and its function is to move forward in upward swimming strokes. This kind of fish moves pretty quickly and catches its prey instantly. The Goldfish
A humans childhood events and surroundings shapes one’s life to the fullest extents without a doubt, although if a person’s adolescence is obscured their own world could crumble. In both Australian films “I Love Sarah Jane (ILSJ)” (2008) directed by Spencer Susser and Luke Doolan’s “Miracle Fish” (2009) both show the complicated lives of two young boys in their own lives. ILSJ has a very well set of zombie apocalypse where no adults are seen other than in undead form;underlining the horror of the catastrophe a love story between the main character Jimbo and Sarah Jane is shown. In the simplest summary of Miracle Fish, Short of the week concludes that “[Miracle Fish]...is a dark 16 min film about a bullied 8 year old named Joe. It’s
f you leave something you love very much. And you cannot have it no more. If you had to leave it and it could never be the same without it. You had to live your life as if that something that you loved was never there. When you leave something that you love its like leaving a piece of you behind that you charish.
At the conclusion of the experiment, the two hypotheses were reviewed. Because the water temperature did affect the normal respiration patterns of the goldfish, the null hypothesis was disregarded and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. From the results of this experiment, it was concluded that although other environmental factors could play
The Marble Champ” by Gary Soto & “The 14th. Goldfish,” by Jennifer L. Holm, Both share many similarities. One theme I can make out of both stories is “Never Give Up.” One is a story about a scientist who is stuck as a teenager because of a mishap in his invention. The other story is about a girl who is good at all things but sports and has to work hard to get good at it. These stories both share similar themes. One, because they both are determined to become successful. Two, they both work hard in what they believe in. Three, they both have motivations that help them Never Give Up.
Goldfish kept in homes usually don't lives five years. Considering that he lived to be 41 years old, Fred is the oldest goldfish on record. Mr. Wilson, Fred's owner, must have made a special point of taking care of his fishbowl per and giving it lots of attention. He changed Fred's water and cleaned Fred's fishbowl regularly. I wonder if Mister Wilson talked to Fred, too. Don't you wonder what Fred
Unit 1 ties into the theme of tolerance and the acceptance of others, as Barbara Jordan said it, “We, as human beings, must be willing to accept people who are different from ourselves”. Whether it was the short story What of This Goldfish, Would You Wish? Or the newspaper editorial The American Flag Stands For Tolerance, the pieces dive into and explore the issues of acceptance among others.
Throughout this unit I have seen how the lense of perspective is different in everybody's eye and how it’s important to look through the lense of the opposing side and not just our own. A great example that was shown in one of the stories that we read is in “What, of this Goldfish, would you wish” when around half way through the story it switched from the young boys perspective to that of the Russian. Also examples can be taken from the “Texas V.S. Johnson” case and how it can be seen through the perspective of both the government and the people who were burning the flag. There can even be examples from current day events that happen everyday in another part of the world with the video “My So-called enemy” showing how both the Israelis and the Palestinians have their motives for what they fight for. All of
Goldfish can tell the difference
The Fourteenth Goldfish by Jennifer Holm tells a tale about a young teenage girl and her seventy-six-year-old grandfather who found a formula to turn him into a thirteen-year-old teenage boy. Their names, Ellie and Melvin are about the same age. Attempting to get the T. Melvinus, along with Ellie’s friend Raj, can they all find and decide if humans should use the T. Melvins, or destroy it. I would recommend this book written because the book sparks my interest in the biological field. Both children and adults including scientists would like it because it combines terms that scientists use, “children's literature”, along with “adult’s literature.” Can the group figure it out? Maybe the settings have something to do with it.
Most people do not know what the blue glaucus is, so here are some fun facts about them. 1. Although they can swim, they aren't fish. Blue dragons or blue glaucus aren't fish. Although they look like an alien fish, they aren't fish.
Compare and Contrasting Squids and Rabbits My paper is about squids. And rabbits and if you read this you will know about these animals and. You will know more about them if you want to learn about how they live.
It is usually a challenge to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea. Ordinarily, one has to consider one’s values as well as preferred consequences in order to make the better or best choice. In the short story, “What of This Goldfish, Would You Wish?” by Etgar Keret, Sergei Goralick faced a similar conundrum. As an aloof Russian expatriate fisherman in Jaffa, Israel, his only company is a magic three wish-granting fish. But having impulsively murdered Yonatan, Goralick had to decide whether to use his last wish to save the boy or keep his magic goldfish companion. Though he would have preferred the latter, Goralick made the better choice saving Yonatan as it matches his established humaneness and the consequences attached were more reasonable.
