There are numerous differences between the plot of the movie “Guess Who’s Coming for Dinner”, directed by Stanley Homer and short story “Guess Who’s Coming For Dinner” written by Roddy Doyle that makes the two similar, yet different in perspectives.
Arguably, the most significant detail between the two noteworthy pieces is between the “chocolate pudding” from the short story and the Monsignor Ryan in the movie. They both acted as a middleman to break up the tension in both scenarios. The pudding interposed the two parties; Larry and Ben.
