There are a lot of things similar about the story “Liberty” and “Most Dangerous Games” and Harrison Bergerson” and there are a lot of differences. In the story “Liberty” the main character was the little girl/narrator. The setting was the Dominican Republic. The conflict of the story was that narrator wants to go to the United States of America for freedom. This story can compare to all the of the other story’s. In the story “Most Dangerous Games” the main character was Rainsford and Zaroff the setting in the story was the desert/woods. The conflict in the story was that Zaroff was hunting Rainsford. From the past couple of weeks that we have been reading these stories, there were two that really stood out to me. In "The Veldt" by Ray Bradbury and "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut, these stories teach us important lessons about technology and control while also warning us about relying too much on technology and the government. They demonstrate vivid imagery to show us what could happen if we lose touch with reality for good. Lets take a closer look at what I’m talking about.

Would you rebel for something you believe in, but everyone else does not? Would you die for the cause of something good and helpful to the world? This is exactly what Harrison did. In Chandler Tuttle’ 2081 and Kurt Vonnegut’s “Harrison Bergeron,” Harrison's appearances, beliefs, the equipment used on him, and the responses he receives and produces are important aspects to both medias. Though, the short story and film both have its own unique features that help us connect to his personality. Harrison from “Harrison Bergeron” is a considerate, ignored hero, but also an outsider to the people for his beliefs; since he uses the threatening and self-centered words to express his bitterness and words, many feel he is egocentric, but he has only said this to get his word across, although, in 2081, Harrison is a wise, intellectual, mature, and a Christ-like figure, who appeals to our senses in a better way than Harrison from the short story does explaining why the current system is not effective.

Anthem and “Harrison Bergeron” are about dystopian societies where uniqueness and individuality have been stomped out in attempt to make everyone equal. The Protagonists in both stories are individuals who chose individuality over equality and dared to be different. Equality 7-2521 from Anthem and Harrison Bergeron from “Harrison Bergeron” are similar, but different in their own ways.

In”Harrison Bergeron” written by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., the family shares similarities and deferences with my family concerning point of view, standing up for what you believe is right, and how it fits into families today. The “Harrison Bergeron” has similarities to my family such as Points of view because in my family everyone has a different option on things. Another thing is standing up for what you believe in, in the story it shows a lot of how concrete Harrison belief is that the handicaps are bad and how he is willing to challenge the whole government over it. There are many families but all of them will have the differences good and bad.

The film 2081 directed by Chandler Tuttle is an adaptation of the short story 'Harrison Bergeron' by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. which looks into a dystopian society where everyone is finally equal. Vonnegut wanted to show us how absurd the world will become when everyone is equal and Tuttle has conveyed that perfectly in his adaptation. The story is told from George Bergeron's perspective as he watches his son Harrison perform his act of rebellion and his own requiem. Tuttle uses Harrison to criticise how absurd perfect equality is and uses George to show how the media can control our lives and dictate how we view of our society.

The message of harrison bergeron is that total equality isn’t as good as it sounds and should not be the goal like many people think. But physical and mental equality should be what we should be striving for. What makes the story and movie different is in the movie it focuses more on Harrison and how he affects the setting. But in the movie it focuses more on harrison's parents and how the setting affects them. The message vonnegut was trying to make was hope of a possibility that the system will change, the people will come together and take control and the evil will fall. Harrison Bergeron because he wrote it so i think he'd like it more because he puts everything important into it.

Most families are complicated but supportive. For example, a family could argue a lot, but still love one another. In Alice Walker’s “Everyday Use” mama still supports her daughters even though, they’re not around much. Their issues are not unique because my family has its issues, too. The family in “Everyday Use” and my family both have similarities and differences regarding siblings, bonds, and mothers.

In the short story harrison bergeron every one is set in a Stalinist utopia everyone is rendered equal through the process of handicapping the people’s intelligence and physical attributes. We converse about our conflicting opinions, but we are usually respectful and still support one another.

In 2081 the government wants everyone to be equal so they hand out handicaps to people with good looks, vision, strength, brains, and other talents. The couple, Hazel and George Bergeron, are watching dancers on tv when an announcer comes on. He says a person named Harrison Bergeron has escaped prison. Then they hear a thud and see a figure matching Harrison’s description at the door. He goes up to the stage, rips off his handicaps, and asks one of the dancers to volunteer to be his Empress. When one comes up he takes off her handicaps and they begin to dance. They start to float till they kiss the ceiling. The doors burst open and in walks the Handicapper General. She pulls out a gun and shoots them both. I’m going to prove that the setting of this story needs more detail and that the characters, specifically Harrison and Hazel Bergeron, have nice subtle backstories.
