International marketing or business is uniquely different from the local market because the product price, place and promotion is vastly different from what is been offered to local customers (Johansson, 2000) With the emergence of the information technology, cross border marketing has never been a distant dream. However, it has never been easier even for giant multinational companies to face challenges that come in international business. The biggest challenge comes from the culture which varies from country to country.

Specifically, I will be analysing the marketing environment and Country Road’s approach to this environment and how CR market to their customers. I will look it why the marketing in Australia is so successful but how this same success was not translated in overseas markets. I will also discuss the different macro and micro environmental influences to this failure in the U.S. markets and make recommendations on how CR might have learnt from previous marketing mistakes and show how they are striving for success in the future.
In summary, marketing is very important for a business to achieve success. Many businesses have a difficult time in this area. With the stiff competition, businesses struggle to stand out among others. Other companies resort in unethical and unfair schemes just to win the competition. But eventually find themselves in great loss and failure. As businesses all over the world enter into a gigantic marketplace, every business owner is faced with convoluted market competition. Nevertheless, any entrepreneur can be different and become successful in this matter. In every product sold and in every service provided, patience and hard work should take precedence to ensure quality. Products and services should be marketed honestly, planning should not be done with evil

Modern day Pakistan’s land has traditionally been Muslim for many years. In the early nineteenth century it was ruled by Britain and considered part of the British Indian Empire. In 1947, a partition was granted from the British, and Pakistan and India were created as their own countries. As the previous British Empire divided,
I was born in India. I was raised in Punjab state. I spent almost 17 years of my life in Punjab. I lived in India with my family. When I was 17 and half, me and my family moved from India to the United States. We immigrated to United States in 2016. Moving and adjusting into a new and different environment is not very easy. There are a lot of differences between these two nations. The language, education, work or job, living standard of people are the major differences that I have seen in these two nations. In 1947 after the British rule in India, a partition was happened in Punjab splitting it into two parts “West Punjab and East Punjab”. The West Punjab was given a name new of Pakistan. My great-grandparents used to live in West Punjab before
Canadian based company, Saralyn Mills, is in need of a new marketing strategy to repair the current shortage of sales in Quebec, Canada. According to the case study, the Quebec and Ontario markets account for 69 percent of the company’s sales in Canada. Currently, Saralyn Mills does not have an effective strategy in place for the market of Quebec. The company’s current goal is to implement a global standardization strategy, which is focused on keeping a set marketing strategy the same for every location. It is up to the marketing manager, Nicole Vichon, to come up with a new and separate marketing plan for Quebec. Even though this would be a major policy change from the current global strategy of Saralyn Mills, case facts prove it could be very effective.
Through global marketing strategies, Mary Kay is able to translate their message and sell their products to women all across the world with exceptional success. Conflicts between Afghanistan and Pakistan brought to the forefront deep-rooted issues that continue to plague relations between the two neighboring countries. Pakistan and Afghanistan are two neighboring Islamic states in South Asia with sharing borders. Conflicts between the 2 started because Afghanistan never recognized the Durand line, which divides the 2 neighboring countries. Pakistan always wanted to keep Afghanistan under their control, but if Afghanistan opposes it would dispute its boundaries with Pakistan. The differences between the two can differ from economical to political and of course geographical. Economically, Pakistan is better than Afghanistan. Pakistan is a semi-industrialized country, poised to develop at a high rate. As of 2011, Pakistan’s nominal GDP was US$202 billion. Afghanistan, on the other hand, is one of the poorest countries in the world. For a long time, Afghan economy has remained closed with trade between tribes and communities. Prolonged instability caused no foreign investments to come through. As of
The traditional marketing is identifiable with its 4P’s marketing mix: product, place, price and promotion. Armstrong and Kotler (2005, cited in Rahnama and Beiki, 2013) referred to product “as anything that can be offered to the market for attention, acquisition, use, or consumption and that might satisfy a want or need” (p. 147). In the adoption of a strategy for the benefit of the organization, consideration must be given to the development of the product along with its packaging and branding and other aspects which relate to the totality of the product. Place is a traditional marketing mix which includes “channel type, exposure, transportation, distribution, and location” (Rahnama, et al., 2013, p. 147). It has to be remembered that the product must be available to the customers anytime and anywhere, depending on the knowledge of the wants of the customers (Saeed, Bilal and Naz, 2013). The channels, wherein the flow of product’s distribution takes place, have to be monitored and secured in order to ensure that the distribution process runs seamless and product shall reach to the end users as desired. The pricing mix comprises “competition, cost, markups, discounts and geography” (Rahnama, et al., 2013, p. 148). It is
