Mexico City is one of the largest cities by population. It’s in a highland basin called the Valley of Mexico, the valley sits at about 7,000 ft above sea level. The first people to arrive at the Valley of Mexico showed up a couple thousand years ago, back then the valley had a very large amount of big shallow lakes covering its floor. One of the first groups to settle on the islands were known as Aztecs, who live on an island in Lake Texcoco which later became Tenochtitlán. By 1519 when the Spanish arrived Tenochtitlán was one of the biggest cities in the world with a population of more than 200,000 people. The population density of Neighborhood 2 and 4 is the exact same. Since they’re both the same their spatial inequality is also the same
Texas in it self is a highly diverse multicultural society. It takes on many aspects of many different cultures. One very noticeable culture that has a great impact on Texas would be that of the Mexican culture. Because Mexican culture is so apparent in Texas, that it is easy to compare and contrast some cultural aspects between Mexican and American cultures. This attempt to compare and contrast these two different yet similar cultures will increase awareness and acceptance of cultural differentiation. In order to examine these two cultures closely, I will use Hofstede's
In the comparison of Texas to New Mexico, it can be believed that they share very common political views being neighboring states but that quickly diminishes when taking a closer look into their differences between political cultures, the state constitutions, and the branches of their government including legislative, executive, and judicial. The two states also differ in the issues that they face but they share many as well mainly due to their close proximity to the Mexican-American border.

America was unjustified because of the disputed of the territory. (Hook) Texas and Mexicans aren't being far to each other, or not letting one another have an equal part in the territories because Texas and the US believe their border was on Rio but the Mexicans thought theirs was the Nueces River they both want more land than the other causing a fight or a war. (Doc D) They are rude and disrespectful to the Mexicans when they lived in the Mexican territory, Because they think that since they live in mexico and we aren't Mexican we don't have to obey the laws/rules that they have made.Texas and Mexico both want big land masses so they fight over who gets what causing war between the two of them.

It is logical that two-thirds of Mexican-American population in the United States live in Texas, California, and Arizona because these three states are the closest state to the Mexican border. They allow Mexicans to go back to their homeland and are attractive locations for the Mexican-American populations to make their
In processes of Independence in South American and Brazil happened very differently. In the Spanish American process of revolution there were lots of movements for rebellion (Chasteen:93). Many of the movements were set in motion when the king of Spain, Carlos IV, and Prince Fernando, were captured by Neapolitan (Chasteen:92). The colonies questioned the leadership of the Spanish crown. In Mexico, two priests sparked different rebellions. Father Miguel Hidalgo gained support from indigenous and mestizo people with the phrase “Americans versus Europeans” (Chasteen:96). This turned into rebellion against the Peninsulars and, unintentionally, creole since it was difficult for the fighters to tell them apart (Chasteen:96). Father José María Morelos

Mexico is a famous country which is located in the southern part of North America. I went to Cancun in spring 2012. It was an amazing trip. I really enjoyed the nature there. Most of Mexico 's land is covered by mountains, with only about a third of the land being flat. Moreover, there are five main areas in Mexico. The first one is The Central Plateau which is located just south of The United States. It increases in altitude from the north to south from more than 910 m and 2,440 m near the border of United States. Furthermore, approximately half of Mexico 's population live in this area. The second area is Sierra Madres which consists of three mountains ending with V shape near the Plateau edge. These mountains are the Sierra Madre del Sur on the south, the Sierra Madre Occidental on the west, and the Sierra Madre Oriental on the east. The third area is Chiapas Highlands. The land in this area is high and rough, especially near the Pacific Coast. The fourth area is Gulf Coastal Plain. The land in this area is low along with the eastern coast. Near Texas boarder in south, it narrows and almost disappears. The last main area in Mexico is Lower California-Sonoran Desert. This area consists of the peninsula of Lower California and the Sonoran Desert. Another physical feature in Mexico is Water. Most of the rivers in Mexico are short and too shallow for navigation. The third physical feature in Mexico is climate and temperature. The differences
Above is a pie chart of the top ten percentages of Immigration from around the world. As you can see Mexico has the highest percentage at 28%. This makes since considering Mexico is right beneath us. Some of the Mexican Immigrants come illegally which is not counted to the percentage. The Mexican culture is a mixture of Spanish and Aztec roots dating back to the 19th and 20th century when Spain had rule over Mexico. Their rich heritage and inhabitance formed their culture today with pride and unbreakable traditions. Back before the Spanish had power over Mexico, it was first occupied with an enormous number of Indian groups that varied in social as well as economic systems. Mexico was shared with the Mayans, Totonac, Huastec, Otomi, Mixtecs, Zapotecas, and Tlaxcala’s, Tarascans, and Aztec tribes. Before the Spanish arrived, the Aztec tribe ruled most of Mexico. They built most of what is known as Mexico City due to a tribe prophecy that demanded the city to be established where there was an eagle with a snake in its beak resting on a cactus. That became a national symbol of Mexico and embellishes on the country’s flag
Mexico is bordered by the United States on the north, the Pacific Ocean on the west, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea on the east, and Guatemala and Belize on the south. It is characterized by an extraordinary diversity in topography and climate and is crossed by two major mountain chains, the Sierra Madre Occidental and the Sierra Madre Oriental. The high central plateau between these two mountain ranges historically funneled most of the human population toward the center of this region. Mexico features volcanic peaks, snow-capped mountains, tropical rain forests, and internationally famous beaches. Mexico City is an enormous metropolitan area and dominates the rest of the country's culture, economy, and politics. Nearly
