Dogs and cats are two very different types of animals. They both require lots of care and love, but also can make big messes. Having a pet requires hard work and person should think things through before adopting one. They should see if they have time during the day to give their animal attention it needs. They also must make sure that they have enough money to be able to buy things for their pet. There are no two people in the world who are exactly the same. Certain types of animals work better for other people. Both are great pets, but a certain type of person may work better with one type of animal. Caring for any type of animal is not easy. Dogs need to be walked at least three times a day. This helps a dog stay healthy and helps to prevent from their dog going to the bathroom on the floor. Another thing a person must do, even if they think is gross, is pick up their dog’s poop. About once a month they will start to notice that something smells. That person shouldn’t be alarmed, it’s just their dog. There are many different options a person has when their dog needs a bath. They can wash them in their bathtub, have fun cleaning that up. They can bring them to Petco and make it someone else’s problem. Or if they don’t want to spend a lot of money, but don’t want to clean up the mess that their dog will make, they can go wash them themselves at a self service dog wash. Cats on the other hand do not need to be washed. If a person tries to wash their cat they will be scratched by them. Cats also go to the bathroom in litter boxes. It will start to smell bad if a person don’t change it often. Cats also get hairballs. This means a person's cat needs to be brushed frequently because when they lick themselves they swallow hair and then puke it up. Cats and dogs both need to be feed two or three times a day, depending on their size and how much exercise they get. They also get thirsty during the day, so they should make sure their water bowl is always full. Both animals take hard work and a person must be able to have the time to take care of their new animal. Dogs and cats both need attention and lots of love. They both need to be played with, but like different things. Dogs are obsessed with balls. A person
Whether it is an inside cuddle buddy, or an outside mice killer, cats make wonderful pets. While dogs stay dirty, drool, and bark, cats clean themselves, are clean animals, and meow quietly. Cats are warm and fuzzy and love to cuddle while they take naps. Dogs are too rambunctious and energetic. Cats make better pets than dogs.
Dogs’ eagerness to please their masters is also a commendable trait which cats simply don’t have. Without this, it would be very difficult to train dogs for the many jobs they now hold, from aiding law enforcement personnel and herding sheep, to seeing-eye dogs and even helping exterminators locate hard-to-find infestations. Cats
While dogs and cats are a lot alike, you have to consider their differences before you choose your pet. As mentioned before cats do not require cleaning nor exercising or training, while dogs are in need of all these things. If you want to raise a pet then, try to manage your time before you choose your best
and self sufficient? It is undeniable that cats are way better than dogs. Cats can lick themselves clean, and they make little to no messes whereas dogs slobber everywhere and need to be given a bath. Dogs also take forever to train and have a shorter life expectancy than cats while cats take less time to train and will be around longer. Wouldn’t you rather spend less time training your animal and have more time with them? Not to mention, dogs can be a pain to take on walks, but cats use the litter box without any assistance. Dogs are also a lot louder than cats and definitely more frightening. More people are scared of stray dogs than of stray cats. Do you really want a dog that will be loud and obnoxious and scare off your guests? With all these reasons it’s hard to deny that cats are tremendously better than dogs.
People can either be a cat person or a dog person. Cats and dogs are unique creatures yet they are the two most common household animals. I am definitely a dog person. I love dogs. I think everyone should have a dog. They’re great pets. Dogs are fun and a lot of work but it sure is worth it. Cats, on the other hand, I don’t care for. I had a cat when I was only about one year old and she got run over by a car. Ever since then my family has had a dog. Maybe if I had a cat when I was growing up I would like them more.
Owning an animal can take up a lot of time. For most people time is of the essence, and spending a lot of time on an animal is unrealistic . Cats are able to live without their owners for days on end. They can usually find something to eat, and pee if plants for example. But dogs need to be put in kennels and looked after by another person. Dogs also have to be put on leashes when they are outside. Cats have the ability to roam freely because their owners do not have to worry about them causing a lot of trouble. A cat is allowed to be outside until late hours because owners know that the feline will make its way home, where as a dog at night is usually brought inside, or chained up outside.
I have heard the old saying that dogs are man’s best friend. I don’t know much about dogs, but I do know a lot about cats. I have had a cat as a pet for at least 30 years. They are wonderful and I know I will always have one in my life. I think cats make the perfect pet because they are self sufficient, intelligent, and good companions.
First, Pets can teach responsibility which is a very important life skill. To care for a pet you must feed it,
The most amazing pet you can get is certainly a dog! In my opinion, dogs are a much better pet than cats. Although everyone has their own great choice, I will always love dogs more than cats. Yes, cats can take care of themselves, making them easier to care for, but dogs can help you emotionally, keep you healthy and safe, and don't need any special food! One reason why I admire dogs more than I admire cats is because dogs make favorable companions.
Dogs and cats are very different animals and they have different attitudes, needs, and habits. Understanding these differences can help in the process of choosing between them. For unwavering love and loyalty, not to mention protection, a dog is the choice. Dogs will not question authority, and they will, after some training, do exactly what they are told to do. There are many species of dogs, and they come in large, medium, and small sizes.
Humans domesticated cats and dogs tens of thousands of years ago by taking them out of their natural habitat and selectively breeding them, changing the very course of their evolution in the process.(2) Dogs and cats are not native to most of the areas they now occupy, so their reproduction remains relatively unchecked by natural predators or environmental conditions, especially when under human protection. At the same time, their breeding frequency and litter sizes have remained the same as they were millions of years ago. For instance, a single female cat can have three litters a year with an average of five kittens per litter. In only seven years, she and her offspring could potentially produce 420,000 cats. In just six years, one female
There are two types of people in this world: dog people and cat people. While dog people like to think they’re the best, we all know the truth—cat people rule. Whether you have one, two, three, four, or even more cats, you know there’s nothing more rewarding than getting a cuddle from your furry friend.
There is always the chance that someone could prefer both cats and dogs. This fact is supported by people who have both, but are more likely to think in the same fashion of a dog person. In this case you are also likely to talk to your animals, possibly have a four year degree and even dislike animal-print clothing. I know those sound a little nuts but I have to admit when you need someone to talk to cats are great. I am working on that four year
Having a pet is a wonderful idea. Pets bring companionship, personality, and gut wrenching humor to households across the world. Having previously owned both a cat and a dog, and currently being without a pet, I began to think about getting a new furry friend. Born a dog lover, and bred into a cat lover, I had the difficult decision of choosing one of the two.
Pets are loved by everyone for many reasons; no matter what breed of animal you own, they can bring happiness to your lives. However, when you are thinking of getting a pet for the first time, whether it is as a new addition to your current family of pets or a replacement for one that sadly is no longer amongst you, there is a lot to consider when keeping a pet.
