As human beings, we all have our distinctive qualities. That's what makes us our own individual. But in some cases what we do in our lives may be similar to what others have done as well. Today in this essay we will be comparing Julius Caesar and Abraham Lincoln. Both very successful men with different paths, but also haven gone through similar events. Julius Caesar, the once popular leader of the Roman Republic was born on a debatable date but experts say that he was born in between c. July 12th or 13th 100 BC to March 15th, 44BC. He was the governor of the Roman province of Spain. After making a pact with Pompey and Crassus back in Rome, he got elected as consul. The following year he was appointed governor of Roman Gaul where he stayed for eight years, adding the whole of modern France and Belgium to the Roman Empire.
