Comparing The Gospel Account Of The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ

We will be comparing and contrasting the four gospel account of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I will first go over the differences I see in each of the four gospels and then go over some of the similarities.
First let’s look at Matthews’s account being that he was possibly one of the two disciples that were around when Jesus was teaching. Here are a few things I have notices different from the other three gospels. At dawn the day Jesus is risen there was a very large earthquake. When the angel appeared, he looked like lightning with his clothes were white like snow. The guards got scared and almost looked like they were dead. Later on the guards would tell their story and was told to make up a story that the disciples took the body. The two women went up to Jesus tomb the day of his risen. The also was one that told the women that Jesus had risen and was going to meet the disciples. On their way down to tell the disciples, Jesus met up with the women and they were able to touch him. He told the disciples while at Galilee on the mountain that he as “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. So go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:18-20, NIV)
Let’s now look at Mark gospel which is the shortest of the four and from someone that might not be one of the original 12 disciples. He stated there were three women that went up to Jesus tomb very early in the morning and had…
