Executive Summary The purpose of this report is the comparison between the retailers The Coffee Club and The Three Monkeys Coffee & Tea House and contrasts the role of Sustainable Consumption. The paper will discuss the retailer 's responsibility with regards to influencing consumer-purchasing habits through the encouragement and facilitation of sustainable consumption practices within certain product lines (Danish Ministry of the Environment, 2015). The information provided will discuss the retailer 's responsibility to influence consumer purchasing habits through encouraging and facilitating sustainable consumption within certain product lines (Danish Ministry of the Environment, 2015). The efficiency of resource procurement and utilisation will also be a focus of this paper through discussion of optimal processes, products and services each retailer could implement in order to control and minimise environmental footprints (Miller, 2008). Finally the paper will examine supply chain resource efficiency and Corporate Social Responsibility as it relates to Consumer Choice, Store Design and Operation (Miller, 2008). This report is based on prior observations of the two retailers and other secondary resources such as newspaper and/or magazine articles, reports, lectures and peer reviewed Journal articles. This report may be flawed by the lack of information that was unable to be collected first-hand due to University stipulations and relies upon all secondary information to be accurate and true.
