Of Mice and Men was a striking book about a few men simply endeavoring to get by in the Great Depression. George and Lennie had known each other for quite a while and had developed to rely upon each other. All through the book Lennie got some information about them, about how they would get a place and live respectively, they never got the chance to do that, as life would have it, reality acted as a burden. The most questionable point from this book was the reason George killed Lennie.
