Course Competency
Throughout this course I have addressed a number of content competencies. The first content competency that was addressed was Standard 3: Instructional Delivery, Criteria B. Criteria B deals main focus is differentiated instruction. Basically making sure that differentiated instruction is occurring in the class to meet every student’s needs. The second content competency that was addressed was Standard 5: Learning environment, Criteria B. The main focus of this competency is to Establish clear expectations in regard to classroom rules policies and procedures and to make sure that they are consistently enforced. the third content competency that was addressed was Standard 7: Student Academic Progress, Criteria 3B. This particular competency deals with administering useful assessment to the students, analyzing students progress throughout the course of the year, and making sure instruction is modified according to the students progress. The fourth content competency that was addressed was Standard 2: Instructional planning, Criteria B. The main focus of this particular competency was making sure the teacher gave adequate time for Mastery of content and making sure the planned amount of time was sufficient and realistic. The fifth content competency that was addressed was Standard 6: Professionalism, Criteria A.
