The CEO– CIO working partnership is key to the success of HIS and technology investments, plans, and implementations, all of which are significant to the future of the organization, as well as key to its ability to perform efficiently and effectively from quality and cost perspectives. Not only the technology can health when it comes to the success of the organization, but also the staff members must have great knowledge of the job they do. The purpose of this paper is to determine the characteristics and responsibilities of Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and they both work to provide good quality work for patients.
