The cars navigate on well-defined pavements, this does not mean that car are unable to drive on terrain that is different from roads, but it has to do with the ease of navigation and vehicle life. That being said, cars are very sensitive to the type of pavement, and the performance of a car – including top speed and durability depend on these pavements as much as they depend on the fuel, engine and building material.
