Software Defined Network is an approach in computer networking that allows network administrators manage their network so that it can perform at a higher rate. The main objective of SDN is to provide a much faster and flexible relay of networks so that networking can be much more efficient and convenient for industry and academia. The first step into SDN consists of deploying management and pooling the network resources so that the network can be software controlled. SDN has an architectural approach that simplifies and optimizes network operations by binding the interaction among applications and network services and devices. The concept behind SDN is to approach networking through an architectural standpoint that allows networking to be dynamic, manageable, cost-effective, and adaptable. SDN architectures involves network control and forwarding functions. This may include direct programming, agile, central managed networking, automatic configuration, and an open standard based/vendor neutral protocol. These features allow enabling network control to become directly programmable and the underlying infrastructure to be abstracted from applications and network services. The main advantage of SDN would be the convenience it provides. It can allow users to manage an entire network system. Network administrators can control and adjust the networking server to complete a given task in an efficient manner. The administrators can also modify and change the networking equipment by
