The topic that I would like to inform the class of is the Illuminati. The illuminati is a secret society started in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt. The societies purpose it to establish a one world order.

Most celebrities like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Drake, Lil Wayne and on and on have pictures exploiting the Illuminati eye, baphomet and satanic salute symbols. What people don't understand is that the Illuminati is real and people are dying due to the Illuminati's agenda of a New World Order. For decades, many people have thought the world is made up of hundreds of independent nations, with no one in complete power. However, several theories have emerged, especially in the past century, that are leading people to believe this might not be the case. These theories state that there may be someone or a group of people, behind the scenes, controlling more than we could have ever thought. While many people think they are working towards a totalitarian world government, the Illuminati was an enlightenment secret society formed in the seventeen hundreds that has become a conspiracy theory in the modern era.

The conspiracy regarding the Illuminati has circulated for several years. This theory states that, “there is a ‘global elite’ society that is either in control or seeking to take control of the world” (Citation). Beliefs regarding the Illuminati conspiracy are prevalent in recent books and movies, reaching the cult fiction perception. A significant example is The Wizard of Oz, written by L. Frank Baum. The history behind The Wizard of Oz proves that this story line has had an essential role in the occult world all along. Associations of occultism, Illuminati rituals and Monarch Programming exists in sequence of books with satanic activity and intellect controlling it along the way. Viewers perceive The Wizard of Oz as an innocent fairytale, though the story has a deep symbolic meaning pertaining to the use of the Illuminati.

Throughout the article Baker tries to explain the reasons behind the belief of conspiracy theories supported by research and evidence.
