Abstract

Consumer behaviour is the vital point which determines the future of a product or service in that way of a company. Marketing strategies always are developed according to the rapidly changing marketing trends and consumers demands and needs. Therefore, companies must analyze consumer behaviour, consumer environment and consumer affect and cognition in order to develop their strategies and decide their future plans against their opponents.
This paper presents the definition of marketing, its importance and types. In addition, the consumer behaviour, its analysis and role in marketing strategies and finally the expectancies of consumers from marketing supporters are presented.

1. Introduction

Marketing is a kind of method which is applied for a product or service in the purpose of selling it to customers by using many different techniques (Adcock et al., 2001).
Marketing techniques cover the whole marketing analysis and the demands and needs of customers by target marketing and market segmentation as well as understanding consumer behavior and advertising a product 's value to the customer (Kotler and Keller, 2009).
Marketing is the link between the material requirements of people and their economic patterns. Therefore, exchange processes are applied in order to satisfy these needs and demands of people in marketing
