One view of anything is unfair. It is only able to provide a single opinion, and that is not enough to fully understand anything. One story does not offer enough knowledge to produce an actual, well-rounded idea. Every story is formed from one kind of opinion, offering one idea. When multiple stories are told to explain or describe a culture/ group of people, a deeper understanding is achieved. Personally, I have realized that education plays a large part in how people form their opinions. For me, when I came to Cor Jesu my views were changed because of the information I learned. I realized when people judge others, it is mostly based on the culture they come from. This idea brings issues because your judgement is based upon the comparison

In France, the Armee Juive (Jewish Army) was established in 1942 and led by Abrahm Polonski, Eugénie Polonski, Lucien Lublin, David Knout, and Ariadna Scriabina. They had organized escape routes to Spain and in 1943-1944, they had smuggled about 300 Jews out of France (Dirkdeklein, 2017). They would also smuggle money from Switzerland and give it to the Jewish relief agencies. The Armee Juive had also participated in a French revolt against the Germans in 1944. The military leaders of the Armee Juive trained young partisns in Toulouse, Nice, Lyon, and Grenoble. They would also recruit partisans who trained in weaponry, military tactics, and discipline (Zuccotti, 1999). Also in France, the Organisation Juive de Combat (Jewish Fighting Organization)

I can still clearly remember when I first met Sisirkana Dhar Chowdhury as an eighth grader. My mother had suggested I switch music teachers, and I agreed. The next thing I knew, she was driving my sister and me to Fremont to meet our new violin teacher every Sunday. I was planning to start with a month of lessons just to see how I liked working with Sisirkana; during that month, Sisirkana not only encouraged me as a violin student, but also advised me on my academic future. She knew I wanted to apply to Sacramento Youth Symphony (SYS), but she also suggested that I apply to the California Youth Symphony (CYS), a much more prestigious orchestral group. I remember staring at her as if she had just spoken Icelandic, language unknown to me. I was just an average violinist and was just finishing up the fourth Suzuki book. How could I ever expect to be accepted at the California Youth Symphony? Yet, Sisirkana reassured me that in two months, I
These metaphors describe the way that federal, state, and local governments share responsibilities and divide roles. The terms layer cake was used to describe a closed system where all three of the levels of government, federal, state, and local, were all separate from each other (Cronkhite, 2013). Each level was viewed as being separate and disconnected from the other two levels where each system acted as closed system (Cronkhite, 2013). This system also was called dual federalism (AP, n.d.). Under the layer cake description of government each level is seen to have control over certain areas. The layer cake form is characterized by view that the Constitution gives the federal government power over national defense and foreign policy and
“Passion is one great force that unleashes creativity, because if you're passionate about something then you're more willing to take risks.” “I learn something not because I have to, but because I really want to.”, A quote from Yo Yo Ma, an alumni of Juilliard. Most students who have graduated from Julliard, a prestigious school are often having a high reputation. Many people in the music and community and outward argue that symphonies or employers do not care about what school you come from[1], but Juilliard has a prestigious character that can not be reciprocated, as it brings character into a person’s playing and themselves as a person. This school has a great number of programs and clubs, with only 850 students, but therefore has a closer family like environment. In the school, there are about 600 music students, the ratio to student to faculty is 4:1, and it’s in New York City. So anyways, what’s SO cool about Juilliard?
I know most of us want to go to college, and I also know some of us want to go to college for a certain sport. Wouldn’t you want to get paid for your time participation in that sport?

Many believe that the YCJA is consummate, but you could not be aware that there are a couple flaws. Before we go further in detail, what is the YCJA? The Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) is a law that conducts how to treat young offenders. The term “young offenders” could include teenagers from at least 12 years of age, but under the age of 18. April 1, 2003 the YCJA became official, replacing the Youth Offenders Act (YOA). YCJA was made because the previous legislation included various imperfections. Including overuse of courts, biased sentencing, and imprisonment in unnecessary situations. The current legislative is more equitable and successful, but could still have improvements. Sentencing circle is key in healing young offenders. Facing and discussing your mistake will make you understand where you stepped on the wrong road. This will also give the victim an opportunity to overcome the trauma. However, should the age
“Get knowledge of the spine, for this is the requisite for many diseases.” –Hippocrates, 460-377 BC. If a Greek physician could make this statement over 2300 years ago, why is it such an under-exposed theory today? As stated in Chiropractic First, written by Dr. Rondberg, a chiropractor of 35 years and founder of the “Chiropractic Journal,” Hippocrates “believed that only nature could heal and it was the physician’s duty to remove any obstruction that would prevent the body from healing” (8-9). These “physicians” are called chiropractors today, and their goal is to remove subluxations, the displacement of two or more spinal disks that causes

In the United States, starting salaries for teachers who have completed a four-year degree are far lower compared to many other professions, which also require a four-year degree. In most states, teachers must undergo testing and other rigorous certification requirements, but they are given the same consideration or status as beginning professionals in other areas. Although attractive incentives are offered, the compensation does not compare to the long hours of work and schooling required for a teaching career.
