Setting: Cordelia’s bedroom after school in the spring. The four girls are playing dolls while it rains outside. Its very loud and thunder is rumbling. To occupy their time they have taken to the indoors and their imaginations. Elaine is sitting on the side, watching the other girls play intuitively, trying her best to understand how in which she should behave being that she is still unsure of “girlish rituals.”
Carol: (to cordelia) Do you think your mom will mind us staying over until the rain has stopped? It looks like it’s really coming down hard out there. (points to the window)
Grace: Yeah, my mother would have a fit if I were to show up in the home soaking wet.
Cordelia:(in a soft and caring tone) Not to worry, I’m sure she will

With the exception of Elaine, who is still off to the side. She watches, but does not speak. She knows that she is on a tightrope with Cordelia, and she may fall off at any given moment.
Cordelia:(To Elaine) Are you just going to sit there like a wallflower, or are you going to join us? Gosh, why do you have to be so weird?
Elaine:(Timidly sits down next to Grace and Carol) I didn’t bring a doll because I didn’t think it was going to rain today.
Carol and Grace: (hushed laughter)
Cordelia: Are you actually that dumb, can’t you tell a grey cloud from a white one? That’s strike two, don’t you dare make me give you another.
Elaine:(Fighting back tears) Okay, Cordelia you don’t have to be so stern. We’re all just trying to have fun.
Cordelia: (Looking for approval from Grace and Carol) Look what we have here, the bug doctor's daughter speaks back.(Turns back to Elaine)Didn’t you’re weirdo parents ever teach you any manners?
Carol: (laughing over Cordelia’s comment) Obviously not, just look at her!?
Grace: (agreeing mindlessly) She’s a total mess, I honestly just feel bad for

(Elaine looks forward, with her head held higher than ever before)
Carol and Grace: (In a whisper) Can she really just do that? Is she allowed to just walk away from Cordelia?
Cordelia notices the shift of power in the room and feels embarrassed she demands the other girls to leave at once. The rain outside however, still pouring down harder than ever.
Grace: (to cordelia) But, Cordelia? We’ll catch a cold out there!
Carol: (Supporting Grace’s prior statement) Besides, you said it would be alright for us to wait out the storm as long as we were good, and we haven’t done anything wrong? (Both girls looking rather confused with the way they are being treated. They had both been so accustomed to cordelia’s friendly side, and have only been witnesses to her alter ego.)
Cordelia: (looking at the two remanding girls in annoyance) You’re both just as dumb as Eline, you know that? Don’t you ever do anything you're told? I asked you to leave, why are you still bothering me. It’s pathetic.
Carol and Grace: (Gritting their teeth, slowly walk away without a word into the rain where they see Elaine walking.) Elaine! Wait
‘Well I think that's enough adventure for today let's go inside it's getting a little dark. I don't want Grandma knowing about this. She would kill me and you!”
Catherina stopped, gaping trying to process the comment. “You are insane. You know nothing about this mess. You are as innocent as poor Ilsa. This isn’t a game. Reis.”
Eliezer: Oh no. The pleasure is all mine. It’s about time for the world to know how it really was during that time-period.
Not long after, another argument ensured between the two. While they were still arguing, the Godmother sighed, “No wonder why people can’t seem to take those two sisters seriously.”
Julie: I don’t know what to do, I don’t know what to say, I feel so sad inside knowing what all I’ll be leaving behind.
“ I don’t care what you did might have been even but, this isn’t over.” Paige said with an angry serious tone.
“Your words were so pretty,” she continues. “I thought they meant something. But they didn't mean anything, did they? The Stormcatcher didn't mean anything! It was all a cruel, cruel joke!”
“That-That is very kind of you! We really appreciate it, but I am afraid it is far too late. We must head home,” Eddie’s mother replied with a polite smile, forgetting about my previous slip up. Still, there was a frightened glint in her eye that refused to leave when she looked at me.
Ring! The same bell sounded again and once like before, children came out and went into other
"I think the power lines are out," Lindsey replied, her voice coming out an octave lower than normal. The wind raged through her hair, and she struggled to keep it away from her mouth. She finally decided to sit back in the backseat of her Aunt Margaret's car, shutting the door loudly.
“Rebecca. You know whatever I chose you will kill them” You crossed your arms trying to give the boys more time
I tell Jefra about her ruining my presentation and how if it wasn’t for her, we could have had five paying customers, so she says, “Fine, I’ll be Lucy, but I will not be Ethel.”
The three ladies sat in silence and munched on cookies while Susan mulled things over. Finally, Gertie spoke up. “Carol, let's cut to the chase. Did you kill William?”
“Don’t worry…” Abellona said and then giggled as she whispered into my ear after drawing me in close to her. “At least when I’m done with you, you won’t have to see what I’m going to do to those hicks over there you call your friends.”
“Marlee, please listen. I can do things my own way without your opinion. I’m really tired of staying silent while you judge me and everyone else, so please, please, leave me alone.”
