S.P. should practice coughing and deep breathing throughout her hospital stay to avoid lung congestion and occurrence of pneumonia infection, educating the patient about smoking cessation assistance can be helpful as well.
(Mayo Clinic, 2013) Some surgical procedures used to treat CAD are angioplasty and coronary artery bypass surgery. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) The angioplasty surgery is when your doctor inserts a catheter to the blockage in the artery and threads the wire through the narrowed arteries. (Opening blocked coronary arteries: New questions about the old answer, nd., p.2) Once the balloon is in place, at the sight of the blockage, the balloon inflates which causes the plaque to crack and the artery to become free from blockage. (Opening blocked coronary arteries: New questions about the old answer, nd., p.2) The other surgical opinion for CAD is coronary artery bypass surgery is a procedure done by a doctor using a graft. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) The doctor will construct a graft to direct the blood flow around the blockage using existing blood vessels in the body. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) Due to the fact that this procedure requires open heart surgery, it is usually used for patients with several partial or full blockages. (Mayo Clinic, 2013)

Hospitals should use this kind of IT in their hospitals. Today many hospitals are not prepared to treat stroke patients, because of the technology that is available now. This technology can also help doctors assist and better care for a patient in after the surgery. A clot-retrieving stent can dramatically reduce long-term healthcare cost as well, and enhance the quality of life for people who have had strokes. But it is only used in 150 stroke centers in the United States. Even though cost for installation of the stent is about $17,000 more than a traditional treatment, it has better outcomes, and long-term savings could be about $23,000. The effects and its location on accessibility is an issue at this time. Cost can clearly play a role
To Shower After Knee Surgery, you have to Wrap plastic with tape around the bandaged knee or cast. You need to ensure the covering is watertight. You must Wrap plastic around any support aids . If it is possible to remove the brace, you can do so before putting plastic around the knee or cast. Besides, Use sufficient support once getting in and out of the shower after knee surgery. You should put a towel on the shower floor, and use a stool for knee support. You have to Be careful as you will be unable to bend your knee. The stent will be placed where it can be expanded to hold the artery open. Some stents are designed to simply keep the artery held open. Other stents used are drug-eluting stents. These stents are coated with pharmacologic agents that work to prevent restenosis of the artery.
appear similar to conventional stents.”8 Middleton, Teefey and Darcy8 note that the use of PFTE endografts will likely become standard as their performance outweighs the early stent materials used. Color Doppler as well as pulsed Doppler should be used to interrogate the stent and supporting vessels. Velocity measurements are taken using angle correct and spectral waveforms are recorded. Careful examination of the liver vasculature is imperative to verify proper stent function. Specifically, thrombosis or occlusion can be assessed with color and Doppler ultrasound. Velocity parameters may vary from patient to patient and also will change from immediate post procedure velocities to those obtained during long term follow up. Universal Doppler
The ideal purpose of implant is to do the defined task and then dematerialize. The same is expected for the stents inserted in the heart vessels. But unfortunately the conventional stents stays in the body leading to unwanted side effects. Considering advancements from metal stents to present drug eluting stents the ultimate bioabsorbable stent is not yet achievable. With development of such a stent the need of antiplatelet drug will not exist and a person would not have to move around with metal in their body. The ultimate goal of the bioresorbable stent will be leaving the vessels regenerated, resulting in restored functioning. The advantage of the bioabsorbable stent is that if in future there is a need of bypass surgery then the stent would
