Abstract Common problem of the students that contributes to their poor academic performance is the lack of proper study habits. For an excellent performance, there wasa need for the student to have a good study habit. A student, who wants to study well, needs to choose a suitable practice for his studies. How to study is as important as what to study and how to go about studying.
There were 48 fourth year high school respondents of St.AnneÔÇÖs Catholic School in Hagonoy, Bulacan , consisting of 12 males and 36 females. The study use descriptive method of research to determine the correlation of study

Frequency distribution, percentage and mean for the profile variable of the fourth year students third which includes their age,gender, GPA( Grade Point Average) 2. Frequency distribution and mean score of the validated instrument for fourth year students in Physics. 3. Linear Correlation was used to determine the relationship between the common study habits of students with their academic performance in Physics.

Findings of the Study

The following are the findings of the study: 1. What are the demographic profile of the respondents be described in terms of: 2.1 Age. Of the forty eight (48) student-respondents, 28 or 58.3 percent belonged to the 13-15 years bracket, while 19 or 39.6 percent under the age bracket 16-18 and 1 or 2.1 percent were within the age range of 10-12. 2.2 Gender.Of the forty eight (48) student-respondents, 36 or 75 percent were females and 12 or 25 percent were males. This is an indication of female dominance in Saint AnnesÔÇÖ Catholic School populace. 2. The Student Respondents had answered that their study habits improve at .319 level of significance when they are listening to the radio, watching television and eating. Also with .30 level of significance when they are study with their parents, classmates, friends and others.
