Long before in other countries people did not believe that you had to have the perfect hair or skin. People in other countries had different beliefs in beauty. In Africa they used to put rings around the girls necks when they were young to stretch their growth. As they got older they would add more. Closing/Futrue outlook I believe that in the future cosmetology will have everything done by technology. People will build things that will wash your clients hair or maybe even cut or color your client’s hair. Cosmetology is not only one job, it is many jobs. But mainly people focus on is hairstyling. I am aware that while working in this industry I will work with many different ethnic groups and many different hair types. I feel I can do anything as long as I have the determination to do so. Salons need to stay current on the new trends and style within the hair industry and a local cosmetology school can help with that. Keeping a current relationship with the local school can help with the technicians learning new techniques from the local school. Most schools hold training classes and continued education courses for current stylist. The school may contact the salon and make them aware of upcoming courses and the manager will relay the messages to the current techs at the salon. Or the Salon and Spa owners will set up training courses to be taking at the salon.
