The cost of textbooks is consistently rising each and every year. Causing students to stress each year as to how they will pay for books needed for their classes and how many classes they will be able to take. Textbook cost plays a major role in the grades students make and due to having the book or not. Resources needed to help students save money and allow them to better their education need to be looked at. By informing the student that attend Nicholls State University of the many ways to save money on textbooks will take a lot of stress off of the students.

Traci was sad that she was going to lose points and sad that she was unable to buy a textbook. She is a hardworking student. She wants to do well in school and get A’s in all subjects. In order for that to happen, in Tyler Junior College, the Library should have a minimum of 5 copies of each reserve textbook that should be available to students like Traci to use, because textbooks are expensive to buy or to rent.
