In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, courage is shown; examples from my personal life are when I drove and went ziplining for the first time; examples from the news are when a man saved kids from a burning building and when a dog saved a woman’s life. When I was twelve I decided I wanted to learn how to drive. My dad threw me the keys and took me driving in my neighborhood. I could barely see over the wheel. Another time I showed courage was when I went ziplining for the first time. I was about ten years old and we were in Orange Beach. After walking up the neverending flights of stairs, my cousin and I finally reached the top. We were ziplining about 70 feet in the air and over a lake. I was nervous, but realized the only way
