A Foodtopian Spy “Attention, shoppers, there is a traitor among you. One of the employees from Foodtopia, the rival grocery store, has infiltrated us. Anyone who apprehends this imposter will be rewarded with thirty dollars. Just a reminder: we are covering all exits with metal grates. Thank you and have a nice day.” As soon as the announcement was made, River knew that she’d been caught. But how did they find out? As manager’s assistant at Foodtopia, it had been her job to spy on the other grocery stores. Why should she get punished? Punish her boss, not her! “Can you believe someone would do that?” scoffed a shopper in blue clothes behind her. As River turned around to respond, the shopper pulled out handcuffs and a hat labelled “Security.”

There are three iconic symbols of the presence of Mexican Americans in the history of the United States: The role of Mexican Americans in the WWII, the Bracero movement, and the Zoot Suit Riot. All three moments provide insight on the participation of Hispanics in the construction of the American society and more importantly, on the way the Mexican American identity has been constructed and on the ways this community has been considered, in general terms, a group of domestic aliens. As a consequence, Mexican Americans have been segregated and denied equal opportunity historically. However, they are here to stay, an Anglos better learn to deal with their presence.
Then some of people noticed a new guest, dress as a clothes of the Red Death. Everyone was freaking out because of him. When Prince Prospero saw this guy, he became angry and asked courtiers to seize him and unmask him. But no one have the courage to do it, including Prospero himself. The Red Death walked through the rooms, heading toward the black room. Prospero chased him with taking his dagger. Prospero reached the edge of the dark room, the Red Death suddenly turned to face him, and Prospero fell on the ground and dead. "Then, summoning the wild courage of despair, a throng of the revelers at once threw themselves into the black apartment, and, seizing the mummer, whose tall figure stood erect and motionless within the shadow of the ebony

I comfortably drive my car into the desolate street, Perusing the deserted buildings, Smashes windows and rusted For Sale signs. The car locked up like Fort Knox. I observe the street for trouble. Two young boys look at me from afar as if I'm an alien. Do I stand out that much same greasy hair, expensive clothes, a smart car I suppose I am out of my comfort zone? “Mister, you don’t belong here” his hand gripped his switch. “Pony.... Ponyboy Curtis” I stammer “I live here or at least I did, I'm here to see two-bit’ The Boys turn around “geez his old now” the boy's chirp. The boys stroll away in awe that they saw the great Ponyboy.
The impact of unchecked ambition greatly influences occurrences that take place in an individual’s life. These influences occur in one’s thoughts, behaviours and actions. Although good intentions come with these factors, the results are not always good outcomes, and instead trigger tragedies. According to Napoleon Bonaparte: “Great ambition is the passion of a great character. Those endowed with it may perform very good or very bad acts.
Sunshine was pouring out from in between the buildings, casting shadows all around Ponyboy and the gang as they walked to Pony’s school. They were taking their time walking down the streets and for the first time they all were really seeing what was all around them. Memories were surfacing in their minds showing them what it all meant to them. With every step they took on the sidewalk they remembered a different memory as if they were walking down memory lane. Ponyboy didn’t think it was possible for him to be walking down this street for the last time as a high school student, but he had gone through the years with great grades that earned him many scholarships.
Back in the main level of the factory, Wolf and Fox find Hawk lying on the ground, pale and unresponsive, his bulletproof vest next to him and the edges of a red stain showing around a wad of gauze. A soldier that Fox assumes is N-Unit's medic kneels next to him, along with Snake and Coyote. The three medics are talking frantically among themselves. The rest of N-Unit hovers nervously nearby; the rest of H-Unit is nowhere to be seen. Dust particles dance through the beams of sunlight from the holes where windows used to be, giving the whole scene a strangely dreamy air.
The air was cold, not a frigid cold, but rather a chilly fall evening. The sun was setting and the sky was an Erie dark blue. Nick turned on the radio and the guys were ready to kick off the weekend. Their plans were dim, but they night was young and hopes were high. Johnny leaned over to open the window and a heavy breeze flew into the car. The window was quickly rolled up and the realization that summer was over was clear. Driving down University drive Nick and Johnny indecisively argues about what to eat. Every fast food joint had been hit about 4 times by this time in the year. The two decided on chipotle and began their scheme to acquire booze. “Morgan, you asshole! You just got us all killed.” Johnny screamed abhorrently while punching the hood of Ruby. “Okay, let’s go! We don’t have a choice anymore, it’s guns a blazing.” He said pulling his handgun. “Steaks, what do you have left in the back of your Caddy?”

Which was the reason why I hated Eros. I hated that I loved him. I hated that his one glance on me could lift up my mood instantly. For the last six years, ever since Mom and I moved to New York, I have been madly in love with the most unreachable guy in our school.
"Wake up, partners," the trail boss, James called. I sleepily looked up , shivered, and saw I was the only one not up. "Here," James said, giving me the horses' bridles and saddles. "Take these and get the horses ready. We have a long day today." I groaned in reply and set up the horses for the day's long drag. I was the horse wrangler and this was my everyday job but I still couldn't get use to the idea of waking up before the sun and working. We drove the cattle into open plains against the winter's cold wrath.
Imagine a perfect society where all are equal and everyone works the same amount. In this society everyone is free and no one is superior. This was the case in George Orwell’s Animal Farm when the animals overthrew their human leaders and created an equal society where they could have fair conditions, and control their own land. However, the pigs soon began to use their superior brains to give themselves more power than the other animals. Napoleon chases Snowball, his only rival for power, off the farm using his dogs. With the dogs and pigs behind him, he becomes the leader of the farm. As time goes on, the difference of rights between the pigs and the other animals grows so much until the pigs are more similar to humans than they are to the other animals. When this happens they become even crueler leaders than the humans were. Because he wanted complete power and authority, Napoleon was the biggest contributor to the collapse of freedom and equality on the farm.
