The dwarfs somehow have magical weapons that can fit into their shoes. They pull them out and there HUGE. “WOW”, Lio and Everest say. The dwarfs scare off Ash and he goes away. “Let's go home now”, Lio and Everest say. They go to the door and are about to go, but it won’t open. They ask Dream “What’s wrong why won't the door open?” “Oh no,” says dream, “the giant has the key”, “Get him!” The dwarfs soon realize what happened and go after the giant with their tiny cars. Finally, when they catch up with Ash they go up to his ear and yell, “Halt!” Then they ask him. “Do you have the key to the door?” “YES I DO” Ash bellows. “Why did you steal it?” questions Dream. Ash says “Because I am mad at dwarf people.” “Why?” said June. “We didn't mean to hurt you, we just needed to scare you off so you didn't hurt us.” “No No, I attacked you because you killed off my family the last time they came.” June says “I am so so sorry. You all look the same and I did not think I was killing your family.” Then the dwarfs say sorry and they get the key back. Ash and the Dwarfs are now friends and no longer enemies. They go back to Dwarf Elm and then unlock the door. Everyone says “Bye. We enjoyed your visit.” The fairy leads Lio and Everest home and
The forest had gone.... and the Witch looked much younger. Audette opened her eyes and had found herself upon a brow of white lilies. The shape of the shrouded old woman seemed changed. Having turned around, and opened her mantle to the tearing gusts, Meliza revealed to the young lady two streams of shinging blackness and smooth white flesh. Audette stopped in her tracks.
A fortnight passed, and Percy and his siblings spent extra time with Will. After coming close to losing him, they all got along better than ever.
After John harnessed the team to the wagon, he, Charity, and Charles loaded Uriah into it. She and Charles then headed to town with him. She left John and Martha Jane to watch over the younger children, with strict orders that they had all better be on their best behavior until her return. John was nearly twelve; she figured he ought to be capable of watching the little ones.
“After defeating the Cyclops Polyphemus, my men grew exhausted. They grew thirsty from rowing under the beating hot sun. Sweat dripped down their heads and the ship’s deck grew moist from the mix of the salty, seawater and sweat. We stopped by on a nearby island.
Weeks later, as Snowman stares into the familiar bright green eyes, he thinks back to what led him here, forgetting the fact that in a few moments, his whole world will be turned upside down.
Laurel nodded her head when she heard that Zinda would be willing to aid her in her efforts of keeping the city running smoothly. “With that attitude I think Ryder will love you.” She stated with a small laugh, her head shook from side to side. “Even before the outbreak I always had a hard time sleeping.” She reached her right hand up and placed it against the back of her neck, rubbing at it. “So it really doesn’t bother me all that much.” She nodded her head. She knew what Zinda said was true, that she should try and sleep more but that seemed easier said than done. She really tried to sleep at night sleep just seemed to elude her, it was never there when she really need it. Like the night they got back from the Farmhouse, all she wanted to do was fall asleep and forget the whole events that had taken place there. Sadly that didn’t happen, she stayed up all night thinking about how she could have done thing differently, that she should have stayed with Kate.
Drenched and frozen, only the warmth from their mothers’ kept the young creatures sustained. The trees’ limbs hung low from the weight of the swampy atmosphere; causing the joyous ambience of the forest to restrain her passion.
If he had been human, everything would have been easier. Hal's life would have been so much better; he wouldn't have been forced to fight, or be controlled by the code in his head. He would have grown into a different, maybe better person. But then, they would still be stuck in the compound, still there when the bots had malfunctioned, and they may have not even escaped. Perhaps they would have died an untimely death and not have escaped into the wastes and would be left to rot in the desecrated compound, forgotten, and the only sign they were there were their desecrated skeletons, and even those would be ground away by the sands of time until they eventually became nothing. It was a pity that they would meet that fate regardless; Dirk would
After saying goodnight to Simon and Magnus, Clary quickly shut the door to the library. The hallway was silent and still as the ocean tide, she had heard Lilian call for her just as her best friends in the world told her their goodbyes for the night. Magnus had conjured up a portal which would take him and Simon back to the village where they lived. Simon lived in a simple but modest house, on the outskirts of town, on a farm with his Mother and older sister. Magnus however, resided in a small, comfortable loft just above the local clothing store.
Through audio and symbolic codes, the original story of Cinderella is played out with poor little Cinderella wishing to attend what she sees as the 'festival of her dreams'. Florinda and Lucinda care very little for their step sister Cinderella who is forced to tend to their every need. She is aware that how she is treated does not equal to how she behaves, however sadly, can do very little about it. "Never mind, Cinderella, kind Cinderella- nice good nice kind good nice-" and with an outburst of laughter they slap Cinderella to the floor, due to her making one simple mistake, leaving her there without sympathy. As the Stepsisters and evil stepmother depart for the festival you watch as the contrast in class becomes much more prominent. As the three board the carriage all adorned and in luscious ball gowns, Cinderella stands looking up to them in not even 'hand-me-downs' but merely and literally, rags. Cinderella represents a responsible, supporter of the family unit who takes her obligations seriously as represented through in her clothing of which are brown and various other darker shades. In search of help, she turns to the only person she can really talk to, her enchanted weeping willow. Acting as the fairy godmother, she grants her wish, and at this exact moment in time, Cinderella truly believe she possesses everything she could have ever wanted. However, later goes on to say "You
I play football here at ULM and we have been in our fall camp for the last 23 days. It is a mental, physical, and emotional strain and tensions are running high. One day early on in camp we were out in the blistering heat practicing. We were almost finished when we called a screen pass and I was going to be the main blocker for the play and if I messed up it wouldn't work. Then as soon as the ball was snapped I stepped with the wrong foot first. This slowed me down and the defender was able to clobber our receiver behind the line of scrimmage. My position coach, Coach Clark, immediately ran over yelling, "What are you doing? Where is the direction you can't lose your man on that play?" I knew what I had done wrong, "I can't let him get up the
Once upon a time in a land far away, a young girl named Cinderella lived with her Stepmother and two stepsisters. Although they were exceedingly cruel, Cinderella continued to be as benevolent as a human could be. One night Cinderella had come across a ball that her mother had forbidden her to attend. Her stepsisters tore and ripped her dress that she had made herself, so Cinderella couldn’t attend the ball. After Cinderella’s stepmother and sisters went off to the ball, a fairy godmother had appeared to grant Cinderella’s dreams to attend the ball. There she met a young fellow whom she danced with all night. Little had she known he was the prince who was throwing the ball. At the beginning of the night the fairy godmother had told
“I will die from the boredom of sitting on a ski lift alone.” Cory thought to himself. The slow ski lift goes right above a steep slope. It was silent except for the occasional sounds of skiers zooming past. Cold winds were pressed against his face and made him shiver. “It must be -7 degrees or lower,” Cory said to himself, against the blowing wind. His fingers were numb from the cold so he had to squeeze his hands into a ball. Finally, he reached the top of the mountain. In front of the lift operating room, there was a sign that said “Frostbite Weather! Cover all exposed skin!” With his poles ready, Cory jumped off the lift.
In the middle of the town lived a beautiful young girl who was as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as ebony wood and lived with her stepmother that frew with angry each time she looked at snow white's beautiful white face so one day she decided to send her into the woods with a huntsman to kill her and bring back her black hair as dark as ebony wood but when the huntsman reached the forest a fierce wolf emerged from a cave and scared of the huntsman but snow white a an unique relationship with wild animals so the wolf led snow white to a cottage which 7 dwarfs lived in this unique cottage, when the dwarf arrived they had a very big shock because right before their eyes was a beautiful young girl that had cooked them an amazing meal for them after they had finished their meal they asked snow white why such a pretty little girl was so deep in the forest snow white explains that her step mother did not like her and wanted me dead so she sent me to the forest with the huntsmans but a wolf appeared out of a cave and scared him off but now i have nowhere to live, the dwarfs thought to themselves should we let this stranger into our home and have her as our maid she can cook, clean and wash our clothes after working in the mines.
Then she remembered the book that she had read when she was a little girl. The main character from the book was a fairy, and when there was a problem a magical ring would always appear on the fairy’s finger. She would place the ring on her forehead and the problem would always be resolved. Lucy put this book into perspective of the situation that she was in at the moment. “Maybe if I try and do what the fairy did in bad situations, maybe I might get out of this terrible mess!” she said quietly with her head down. While the dwarf was standing on the firm snow, waiting for a reply. Lucy managed to get her head down near were her arms were dangling, and she placed the ring on her head. All of a sudden the ring disappeared, the ropes dropped that had held her hostage and she was free to go. She made an immediate run from the dwarf and tree. Picking up pace, Lucy was at a full sprint by a few minutes. She didn’t want to get caught again by the dwarf. She just wanted to get back to the professor's house. Just when she thought that everything was a fraction fine, she had thought wrong. She came to a path that lead out to three different direction- left, right or straight ahead. "Right, left, straight ahead, oh I don’t know? She went straight ahead, making a risky decision. Running ahead, looking back every once and a while, she still could see no sign of the dwarf. “Maybe the ring, died out the dwarf and the tree.” Thinking to herself made her lose her concentration and as she started to focus again, she ran into a furry
