Creative Writing: Everest's Journey

The forest had gone.... and the Witch looked much younger. Audette opened her eyes and had found herself upon a brow of white lilies. The shape of the shrouded old woman seemed changed. Having turned around, and opened her mantle to the tearing gusts, Meliza revealed to the young lady two streams of shinging blackness and smooth white flesh. Audette stopped in her tracks.

A fortnight passed, and Percy and his siblings spent extra time with Will. After coming close to losing him, they all got along better than ever.

After John harnessed the team to the wagon, he, Charity, and Charles loaded Uriah into it. She and Charles then headed to town with him. She left John and Martha Jane to watch over the younger children, with strict orders that they had all better be on their best behavior until her return. John was nearly twelve; she figured he ought to be capable of watching the little ones.

If he had been human, everything would have been easier. Hal's life would have been so much better; he wouldn't have been forced to fight, or be controlled by the code in his head. I play football here at ULM and we have been in our fall camp for the last 23 days. It is a mental, physical, and emotional strain and tensions are running high. One day early on in camp we were out in the blistering heat practicing. We were almost finished when we called a screen pass and I was going to be the main blocker for the play and if I messed up it wouldn't work. Then as soon as the ball was snapped I stepped with the wrong foot first. This slowed me down and the defender was able to clobber our receiver behind the line of scrimmage. Her stepsisters tore and ripped her dress that she had made herself, so Cinderella couldn’t attend the ball. After Cinderella’s stepmother and sisters went off to the ball, a fairy godmother had appeared to grant Cinderella’s dreams to attend the ball. There she met a young fellow whom she danced with all night. Little had she known he was the prince who was throwing the ball. At the beginning of the night the fairy godmother had told

“I will die from the boredom of sitting on a ski lift alone.” Cory thought to himself. The slow ski lift goes right above a steep slope. It was silent except for the occasional sounds of skiers zooming past. Cold winds were pressed against his face and made him shiver. “It must be -7 degrees or lower,” Cory said to himself, against the blowing wind. His fingers were numb from the cold so he had to squeeze his hands into a ball. Finally, he reached the top of the mountain. In front of the lift operating room, there was a sign that said “Frostbite Weather! Cover all exposed skin!” With his poles ready, Cory jumped off the lift.

In the middle of the town lived a beautiful young girl who was as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as ebony wood and lived with her stepmother that frew with angry each time she looked at snow white's beautiful white face so one day she decided to send her into the woods with a huntsman to kill her and bring back her black hair as dark as ebony wood but when the huntsman reached the forest a fierce wolf emerged from a cave and scared of the huntsman but snow white a an unique relationship with wild animals so the wolf led snow white to a cottage which 7 dwarfs lived in this unique cottage, when the dwarf arrived they had a very big shock because right before their eyes was a beautiful young girl that had cooked them an amazing meal for them after they had finished their meal they asked snow white why such a pretty little girl was so deep in the forest snow white explains that her step mother did not like her and wanted me dead so she sent me to the forest with the huntsmans but a wolf appeared out of a cave and scared him off but now i have nowhere to live, the dwarfs thought to themselves should we let this stranger into our home and have her as our maid she can cook, clean and wash our clothes after working in the mines.

Then she remembered the book that she had read when she was a little girl. The main character from the book was a fairy, and when there was a problem a magical ring would always appear on the fairy’s finger. She would place the ring on her forehead and the problem would always be resolved. Lucy put this book into perspective of the situation that she was in at the moment. “Maybe if I try and do what the fairy did in bad situations, maybe I might get out of this terrible mess!” she said quietly with her head down. While the dwarf was standing on the firm snow, waiting for a reply. Lucy managed to get her head down near were her arms were dangling, and she placed the ring on her head. Just when she thought that everything was a fraction fine, she had thought wrong. She came to a path that lead out to three different direction- left, right or straight ahead.
