You can't catch anything!" Tommy exclaimed to Blake. The two young boys were playing catch in the park. It was a bright sunny Saturday afternoon. These two were best friends and always came to this park everyday to play catch. This park. The park they're parents would never them go to. This park was known for being a bad park. Anything bad anyone could think of had supposedly happened here. Blake and Tommy knew that, but it had the best baseball field. The baseball field was definitely not in good shape, but it would prepare them for any bad field they could play on. "I'll get it!" Tommy yelled. Blake had just let another throw go over his head. This time, into the bushes, secluded from the rest of the park. Tommy walked through the …show more content…
Tommy and Blake were supposed to hangout last night, but Blake blew him off because he was busy. Blake was never “busy.” “Where are you going?” Blake questioned Tommy when he got up. “To the police.” “I thought we said we weren’t going to say anything.” “You said that, I never said anything.” Tommy started to walk out his bedroom door, but Blake grabbed him by the arm, warning him not to go any further. Tommy ignored him and pushed through him and sprinted down the stairs and out the door. Tommy was halfway down the street, when he felt a rough hand on his back, pushing him down. Blake pinned Tommy to the ground using his foot. “What’s your problem man?” Tommy said struggling to get up. “My problem is you, always trying to get in other’s people’s business.” “Blake, it’s a dead body, I’m not getting in anyone’s business, I’m doing what any sane person would do.” “So you’re calling me insane?” “Only a little.” “I’m not insane, I swear,” Blake said through teary eyes, letting Tommy get up. “Woah chill man, it was a joke.” Tommy said as he started to walk towards the direction of the police
Sunshine was pouring out from in between the buildings, casting shadows all around Ponyboy and the gang as they walked to Pony’s school. They were taking their time walking down the streets and for the first time they all were really seeing what was all around them. Memories were surfacing in their minds showing them what it all meant to them. With every step they took on the sidewalk they remembered a different memory as if they were walking down memory lane. Ponyboy didn’t think it was possible for him to be walking down this street for the last time as a high school student, but he had gone through the years with great grades that earned him many scholarships.
I comfortably drive my car into the desolate street, Perusing the deserted buildings, Smashes windows and rusted For Sale signs. The car locked up like Fort Knox. I observe the street for trouble. Two young boys look at me from afar as if I'm an alien. Do I stand out that much same greasy hair, expensive clothes, a smart car I suppose I am out of my comfort zone? “Mister, you don’t belong here” his hand gripped his switch. “Pony.... Ponyboy Curtis” I stammer “I live here or at least I did, I'm here to see two-bit’ The Boys turn around “geez his old now” the boy's chirp. The boys stroll away in awe that they saw the great Ponyboy.
"Wake up, partners," the trail boss, James called. I sleepily looked up , shivered, and saw I was the only one not up. "Here," James said, giving me the horses' bridles and saddles. "Take these and get the horses ready. We have a long day today." I groaned in reply and set up the horses for the day's long drag. I was the horse wrangler and this was my everyday job but I still couldn't get use to the idea of waking up before the sun and working. We drove the cattle into open plains against the winter's cold wrath.
A hand crashed through the glass on the side of Caesar's body. The thing was reaching for her. She aimed the gun at the thing and squeezed the trigger. The thing didn't flinch, but grabbed her wrist and took a deep bite. She squeezed the trigger several more times and all the bullets hit the thing. It collapsed to the ground. Eva's heart exploded exploded in her chest. She kicked the door open and looked at the thing on the ground. Was it the Jersey Devil everybody in these parts are talking about. No, the Jersey Devil wasn't real or was it? No, it was just a strange tale that parent's tole their kids to make them stay out of the woods. She gulped in air and kneel down beside the creature. This was no Jersey Devil.
You seem big and strong, we could use someone like you right now since. Well since Frank is going to see his momma soon.” I yelled from the kitchen.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! The slimy, pink puke squirted all over the house and started flooding the house. It was still squirting and it never stopped!
Poor, sweet Carrie had predicted this. Why hadn’t I listened? A single tear streamed down Carrie’s face. Where was Nigel? I looked slightly to the left, and I saw him. His shirt was badly torn, and bright red blood was running down his back. Not only was he injured, but he was also handcuffed. No. Was he being charged for the murder of Rufus? He couldn’t be, this was my fault. I had to do something. I began to take a step, and as my foot hit the ground, I heard the snap of a branch, and Joe fell into my arms. He seemed to have fallen from the tree, and I immediately realized that it had been Joe who previously asked about my arm.
"Thanks for seeing me, Doctor. Sorry, Heather" Jarrod responded as he brought his gaze back to hers after having surveyed the room, and the view of the city the seventeenth floor location provided. Despite his attraction to the dark side of humanity, and the fact that since puberty the man his foibles, and attraction to the darker side of human nature, this was his first ever visit to a Psychiatrists office. Judging from the furniture and lush surroundings, he came to the conclusion that the profession must be a lucrative one, and Heather MacMillan seemd to be doing okay for herself. If she had to deal with crazies all day, that was probably appropriate.
Sniff* "Mommy...Sniff* Daddy..." The lupine cried out as he laid down inside the beaten up box, wishing for his parents until someone started to shake the box. "L-leave me alone..." He whimpered to the stranger until the shaking stopped and two white hands reached inside and lifted him out of the box. "Hey there... Don't fret little pup I'm a police officer. Why were you in that box? Where are your parents? A white tiger asked with a gentle voice to the frightened pup. Jade noticed the police uniform and tried hard to calm down but failed miserably. "T...T-they are....sniff* There gone! T-there with everyone and left me all alone!" The lupin cried out loud, unable to hold back his warm tears. His breaths could be seen in the cold night air.
“That’s great,” Doctor Druthers said with relief. “Now that we have that straightened out, why don’t you tell me about how Johnny has fit into your life before this happened?”
“Yeah well, can you imagine the amount of paperwork I would have to do if my partner got killed?” He shook his head and laughed. “Nah rookie, I thought I’d come and help you out. Now get over here and finish this. I’ll go watch the door. I think I took care of all the guards downstairs but still, hurry up.” He handed the glock to his partner.
The fighting had been brutal. Captain Lesher had reported the loss of two walkers and roughly a dozen men in their wake. Fynta had kept her comms on receive only, listening to the battle that raged above. While they fought with blasters, she and Jorgan worked through a maze of automated turrets and oil slicks positioned over pipes that ignited if a sensor was tripped. Fynta’s boot had caught on fire once, and it had taken both of them to put the thing out. After four hours of hard combat, things were beginning to wind down, which meant Fynta’s job had just begun.
Jake Fontaine trudged up the wooden steps to the house, each step adding another layer of guilt. He stepped across the porch and the heavy thuds of his boots announced his arrival. Life wasn’t supposed to turn out this way. He and his brother, Harrison, had grown up on this ranch and after their parents passed, Gramps took them in. Now, Harrison was gone, murdered. How would he tell his grandfather?
Getting into his four wheel drive has become harder as the years have past by, but seeking time away from the trouble and strife......the wife was even harder. Vietnam, knee reconstructions and diabetes has not accumulated to the struggle of finding time for the open road and the wind in his face.
Harrison becomes a superhuman when he breaks into the T.V studio. He stomped around and yelled “I am the Emperor!” “Do you hear me” As if he was there to save to world, in which he was in a sense. Harrison arrived with no handicaps left to hold him back from anything and had the strength that he was thirsty for as if he was God. He wanted to let everyone know that you can overcome everything. Harrison’s efforts are ironic because he finally gets the freedom that he wants, yet he is killed for it. The intelligent ones were handicapped to forget the sad things, but this less intelligent one were left clueless. Harrison wanted to give them their freedom back, and because of that they killed him with no
