She doesn’t know who I am anymore. She doesn’t even know her own name. Though this may be true, it is my mission to save her from herself. Her name is Amber. She’s eighteen years old but suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

I’ll start from the beginning.

I’m sixteen. Today is my first day at Lakeview High School. So far, Lakeview doesn’t seem like my old school in Seattle. This school is newer and a thousand times larger. The air has a crisp feeling and the temperature is just cold enough to make you shiver. It’s nice here. The sun is shining and there isn’t a cloud in the sky.
