Haley James olive toned hands gripped the black leather steering wheel as she drove down main street away from Karen's cafe and away from the man that she very much wanted to be with. “Asshole.” Haley thought to herself thinking about her once best friend Lucas Scott; the friend that Haley had always gone to when things got tough and it was the same way around for him. They always had some kind of bond that made them each others shoulder including when Jamie died, Haley knew that she could always go to Lucas when she needed someone to talk too, but she didn't know that Lucas blamed her for Jamie's death. Nine years later and Lucas finally says the words that Haley never thought she'd hear him say, but then she never thought he would get this …show more content…
You should spend time with your brother he needs you more than I do.” Haley responded back leaving her phone in her car, she got out and went into the church. Looking around the large foyer, Haley sighed as she looked at the signs for the support group that she had stumbled upon before it wasn't in one of the larger rooms but a small one with very few people that actually went. That was probably why Haley liked it to begin with. “It's now or never.” Haley whispered to herself as she walked into the room alone like she had been for nine years in some way or another. While she wished that Nathan was there what she sent in the text message was the truth; Lucas needed his baby brother with everything that had happened between the two of maybe them being apart for a few days was what was best. Including when Haley really needed to get help for trying to move on from the pain she forced herself into feeling every single day since they had lost their son. Though Haley just wasn't grieving her son's death, she was grieving for her father dying two years later and now her mom who had only been gone for two years, but it still felt like she had been there only yesterday. Will Singleton, Nathan’s brother, also attended the event. “It was an awful thing to have happen on our place” he said. “My brother was a hero who risked his life though there was no way on earth he could save both girls. All I know is that he will never fully recover. All that the town can do at this point is try and prevent this from happening again.”

“The sea and the sky are the same,” uncle always said. At the time he had laughed, but looking out that morning; the cold sea mist clinging to my clothes, I knew he was right.
Ayla could not believe the anguish in Kailey’s voice. All she could remember was running out the room, passing by her mom, and somehow making her way downstairs to the black leather love seat where she lay curled up into a tight ball. Tears ran down her cheeks as she thought of Kailey’s words, “Get out and stay out!” While the words stung, Ayla was more hurt and embarrassed by the fact that Kailey’s friends were witness to the actions that lead to her running away from them. All she could think of was how she felt about Kailey as she blurted out between sobs, “I hate you Kailey… I hate you!”

“We're going back to the alley, where this all started, Angelica thinks we must end this there to escape this nightmare. When we arrive, you must not interfere in our confrontation with Chaos and Grunk, however, you will have to take care of any secondary characters that show up.”
The Odyssey an epic poem that has stood the test of time as history is made. Homer made a story as raptured almost everyone who reads it. Even the most trivial characters seem to serve some important role later in the epic poem. Yet it seems that the meaning of this great piece of fiction changes with the changing desires of society. Yet one thing that Homer puts in every corner of the book stays the same with the test of time. The misfortune that hangs like the sword of Damocles over each characters’ head with every single event and trial waiting for some grand purpose.
“Hush, Aleixo. Do not say such words. He will punish you,” Mother whispered, as if fearful Hades, the God of the Underworld-- Son of Titan Cronus and Rhea, would materialize and snatch them away their world into a place of infinite fire and destruction.
Josh and Ava stopped walking. Ava slowly turned to face Josh with hopelessness in her bright but sad brown eyes. Josh looked at her, seeing her for all that she was; sarcastic, confident, honest, and it hurt him physically and emotionally. The two became inseparable while working and living together at camp; sharing laughs, fears, dreams, but it was over. Much like anything, the summer did not last. Neither one of them expected to have such a close connection, but they did. Josh opened his arms and drew closer to Ava. He wrapped his strong arms around her, pulling her in. With hardly any strength, Ava lifted her arms to barely reciprocate the action. They just stood there. Inhaling the moment with all that they could in hopes it would last forever. Ava would never let go if she could, and Josh knew that and eventually dropped his arms. Ava felt as if life had left her body, only leaving her feeling overwhelmed with sadness. Ava looked up at Josh like a child and gently said, “Don’t forget about me”. It was the most devastating sentence ever
“Why do they have to make everything so complicated!” Hannah Page exclaimed from the perch on her bed. The tight knit group of girls that I have been drawn into were sprawled across a bedroom, all of us complaining in agreement about the amount of effort it took to plan a simple day trip when the male half of our dysfunctional pseudo-family was involved. Phones were buzzing as we tried to organize last minute plans, with the boys continually introducing complications that hindered us from our goal. The girls and I continued filling the air with plans for a day in Nashville, as the boys either interrogated us for details, or in Zach’s case, stopped replying all together.
“ Macie, I know this is never going to be easy but we are going to have to deal with all of this mess. The move, the situation and I know how much you miss and love Texas. But remember, you will always have me to talk to. I should have took the time to stay with you and not take this lousy job opportunity. But I’m glad now because we are beginning to bond more and more everyday.” her dad said. They understood each other and they knew that they would learn to love every place they would go
