In grieve; it turns out Lennie discovered love along the way.

Caitlin is a 16 year old high school girl who lives with her mom and dad. She also has a sister named Cassie who was supposed to be going to Yale but quit and went to live with her boyfriend in New York. Caitlin meets a boy named Rogerson at a party and they start going out, she is not very happy about the choices that he makes but is so in love she would not leave him. Caitlin starts falling back on school, family and cheer team, which she quit because Rogerson says that she isn’t spending enough time with him. Soon they breakup because Rogerson starts beating Caitlin that she has to go to the hospital. After Rogerson and Caitlin were done Caitlin says “After everything that happened, how could I miss him? But I did, I did”.

Yeah, all the late nights at the office made sense to Walter, but Liv knew something was wrong. So she did what any 17-year-old girl would do and she followed her mom to work on Thursday, January 12th and Liv knew once her mom made a right turn towards Shadow Bay High School instead of a left to the hospital her suspicions were correct. Her mother had met with her English teacher Mr. Phillips this wasn't a parent-teacher conference meeting though, this is was what Liv had feared most her mother was having an affair. Liv didn’t go straight to her father with this new knowledge because deep down she already knew he knew. If a teenage girl can figure it out so can a 45-year-old man. Later that night, things were tense among the Walsh family, after dinner Walter confronted Mary about the affair and that’s when Liv knew things would only get worse from here. Mary packed her bags and told Liv to grab Max and head to the car, yet Liv didn’t move and neither did Max. Mary left and then filed for full custody of the kids, but to recieve that the kids would want her to be in their lives

The Odyssey an epic poem that has stood the test of time as history is made. Homer made a story as raptured almost everyone who reads it. Even the most trivial characters seem to serve some important role later in the epic poem. Yet it seems that the meaning of this great piece of fiction changes with the changing desires of society. Yet one thing that Homer puts in every corner of the book stays the same with the test of time. The misfortune that hangs like the sword of Damocles over each characters’ head with every single event and trial waiting for some grand purpose.

Josh and Ava stopped walking. Ava slowly turned to face Josh with hopelessness in her bright but sad brown eyes. Josh looked at her, seeing her for all that she was; sarcastic, confident, honest, and it hurt him physically and emotionally. Neither one of them expected to have such a close connection, but they did. Josh opened his arms and drew closer to Ava. He wrapped his strong arms around her, pulling her in. With hardly any strength, Ava lifted her arms to barely reciprocate the action. They just stood there. Inhaling the moment with all that they could in hopes it would last forever. Ava would never let go if she could, and Josh knew that and eventually dropped his arms. Ava felt as if life had left her body, only leaving her feeling overwhelmed with sadness. Ava looked up at Josh like a child and gently said, “Don’t forget about me”. It was the most devastating sentence ever

“Why do they have to make everything so complicated!” Hannah Page exclaimed from the perch on her bed. The tight knit group of girls that I have been drawn into were sprawled across a bedroom, all of us complaining in agreement about the amount of effort it took to plan a simple day trip when the male half of our dysfunctional pseudo-family was involved. Phones were buzzing as we tried to organize last minute plans, with the boys continually introducing complications that hindered us from our goal. The girls and I continued filling the air with plans for a day in Nashville, as the boys either interrogated us for details, or in Zach’s case, stopped replying all together.
