One day Billy wanted a challenge. I am going to all the fast food restaurants and try all their cheeseburgers. “Let’s see who has the best cheeseburgers” Billy said. I think we should go to Wendy’s first. Billy said, “Sure!” So we went to Wendy's and ordered a cheeseburger. It was cold, looked like been made only about 5 seconds. Wendy’s Fail. Next we went to Dairy Queen. “Hi, I would like.” I said, “ a cheeseburger with extra ketchup.” This time the cheeseburger looked like people took sometime making this it was warm, looked appealing to the eye and tasted good. “Let’s go to Hardee's,” I stated. “we just have to go 3 blocks.” At Hardee’s we ordered the cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was cold, so I ordered a new one. Our last stop was
Start the week off with one of Famous Dave’s Famous Classic Burgers for just $6.99. These juicy delights come with a side and are available for dine-in customers
As we walked up, this establishment looks like any other Applebee’s I’ve been to. It looked clean and well maintained from the outside, and these characteristics carried over as we traveled inside. We were greeted by a Dassel-Cokato Alumni, and he happily led us to where we would feast for the evening. He sat as at two tables shoved together big enough to fit 10 people, but we only had 6. All of us knew exactly what we needed to satisfy our hunger pains, so we didn’t even look at the menus. Our waitress was quick to get our drinks and take our orders. I took advantage of the half-priced appetizers deal, and asked for an order of classic boneless wings along with an order of mozzarella sticks.
What do you typically order when dining at McDonald’s or Wendy’s? When I am having a meal from either place, my favorite choice is a fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, bacon and extra mayo. Sometimes, I may make it a combo and enjoy the greasy, salty french fries and an ice cold soft drink. Most of their customers often purchase the unhealthiest options because they feel as if that is what fast food is all about, right? Fortunately, it does not have to be that way. Fast food can be convenient and nutritious. Wendy’s and McDonald’s are both fast food restaurants, so they are alike in many
Before we start this, I will be telling you about Ancient Egypt. Also how the three indicators will show how this ancient establishment was a very complex society. This will show first about Egypt's Well-organized government. Second, this will show you Egypt's very complex religion and how interesting it is.
The scene is set. The party’s over and you are craving a hearty meal. Whataburger is now at the forefront of your brain. Of course, when you’re hangrily (hungry/angry) driving to get your food, the first thing on your mind is definitely not, “Wow, Whataburger’s marketing schemes are just roped me in.” or “I just love
“The Last Hamburger Stand Since 1952” is the proud motto of one of my most favorite eateries, FATBURGER! Fatburger is a burger joint that focuses mainly on hamburgers that vary from small to large and quantities from two or three beef patties. They also offer non beef hamburgers such as chicken, veggie, and turkey. There is an array of toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, eggs, bacon, and relish to name a few. My favorite location sits right inside the casino, Wild Horse Pass. Surrounded by the sounds of slot machines, roulette tables, and music, makes eating my fatburger that much more enjoyable. The concept of “building” your burger to your liking is amusing. Here is my construction. We begin with a nice toasted
Billy: You think I wuh-wuh-wuh-want to stay in here? You think I wouldn’t like a con-convertible and a guh-guh-girl friend? But did you ever have people l-l-laughing at you? No, because you’re so b-big and so tough! Well, I’m not big and tough. Neither is Harding. Neither is F-Fredrickson. Neither is Suh-Sefelt. Oh – oh,
An issue she had noticed throughout her life was that the wrong people always seemed to have the wrong food, and with this a job waitressing, she would be able to change this. One day, while at work Twyla recognized Roberta’s familiar face and decided to approach her. The reunion was very brief and not friendly; it seemed as though the two women who had once been so close were now strangers living in two very different worlds. After yet another jump in time, the two women met up yet again in a place centered around food, the Food Emporium, a grocery store which claimed to sell gourmet food, and catered to the “rich IBM crowd” (251), of which only one of the women actually belonged. This reunion was more positive than the previous, and the two women ended up going to get coffee to prolong their reunion after their shopping.
If you’re ever hungry, can’t decide where to eat and out and about in Rutland, go to Applebee’s located on Woodstock Ave next to Ben&Jerrys. They have a great selection of American food which you can smell as soon as you exit your car; I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. I have been here on numerous occasions which is why I plan to share my experience with you. Throughout this essay I will show you what it’s like when you enter Applebee’s, what’s on the menu, and what I get to satisfy my hunger.
You drive thru and pick up a magical little paper bag. You look inside and there is the holy grail of burgers. You frantically begin to unwrap the burger then you take a bite. Time slows down. Because of that one small
In Working at Wendy’s, Joey Franklin describes his coworker’s and his background along with why they started working at Wendy’s in order to express to the readers that not all who worked at fast food restaurants are “another wasted life [..and..] that [they] never graduated from high school [or that they] can’t do anything better than flip burgers at two in the morning” (Franklin 31-32). Joey Franklin reveals that they all have different reasons as to why they started working at Wendy’s.
Then we realized we had been given a medium fry instead of a medium frosty. We turned around and pulled up to the speaker once again. Before he could say the welcome to Wendy’s spiel, I said into the speaker,
Meet the Smiths, a family of four living in a small city. Mr. Smith is unable to work due to his obesity, so Mrs. Smith works long hours to support her family. While Mrs. Smith is at work, Mr. Smith stays at home to watch their two kids, ten-year-old Michael and one-year-old Zack. Mr. Smith is not able to walk long distances, so Michael has to do a lot of chores and take care of Zack. On her way home from work, Mrs. Smith picks up something from McDonald’s. Michael sees the McDonald’s box and feels discouraged. This is the third time this week that they have eaten fast food, and Michael is beginning to crave something fresh. While the family is eating, Michael asks his parents, “How come we always eat McDonald’s?” His mom replies with, “Because,
The familiar smell of hamburgers and hot-dogs being undercooked enters the fans’ nostrils, and suddenly the craving of sustenance begins to set in. The salty odor of stale nachos that were purchased a year ago now encroaches upon all who wish to get into the concession stand line. The sweet scent of hot-chocolate now stimulates the olfactory nerves in everybody as the line for the concession stand is ever-growing. After procuring the sources of these aromas, the fans indulge in their stadium delicacies. The hamburgers are smothered with ketchup and mustard, leaving nothing but a sweetly sour taste to be enjoyed. The hot-dogs must be drowned in chili to have any flavor at all, but the flavor it does obtain is so pleasant that one would think of home. The stale nachos are hard enough to cut diamonds, but are somehow still edible when they are drenched with hot cheese. The atmosphere is nearly set for the game to kick off, and everyone in the stadium is
“School lunches taste so bad,” Max complained from the table behind me, eyeing his chicken burger with disgust. “I can’t wait to go home and eat real food.
