How many times have you driven past your local tennis courts and seen them filled with happy kids running around and smiling? Probably more than once. Tennis is a popular sport, played all over the world and loved by many. However, more people should play this wonderful sport. It can be played at any age, and at any walk of life, be ye teenager or 65 year old lady. In fact, everyone should play tennis due to its development of physical fitness, mental health, and social skills.
Competitive sports are both physically and psychologically beneficial for youth. Physical activity can positively affect development among youth, such as self-esteem, goal setting, time management, social intelligence and leadership.
As Prince Sports targets many groups differently this outreach program could then be used to implement programs directed at junior players as well as the casual/recreational player. Prince Sports could engage younger players by implementing a program where they offered free lessons on how to play tennis and donated supplies to schools and clubs. Young kids like to do things that will keep them active, but often change their minds about what interests them. They are not the determining factor in whether or not they will be able to join a new activity; their parents are the ones who will end up deciding if they can become involved in a new sport. So it is the parents who need to be convinced that their child will remain interested in the sport for longer than a couple of weeks. By providing free lessons to young players their parents will have the opportunity to gauge whether or not their child actually enjoys playing and if they’ll stay with the sport before investing a lot of money in supplies and lessons. A point of disagreement among the people whose youth play in competitive sports, is that some think they are too dangerous because the youth can get many injuries that can change their life forever. But on the other hand people think that it is a way to learn life skills and have great confidence, because they will need to know those simple key skills when they are out in the real world and have a job. Research shows, however, that competitive sports are good for youth because the children are meeting new people and they are building up their self-esteem.

As everyone knows, children love to play games and participate in sports. A lot of them, mainly when they are very young, only play for fun or as a way to pass time. However, there are some kids who began training in a particular sport very early to eventually become a world champion, like in the documentary we’ve seen in class, “The Short Game”, featuring young golf champions, all aged below 10. Those are practicing early specialization, unlike the others who only play for fun, also known as deliberate players. There are also players who don’t want to be world champions, but would like to be better than casual players, performing deliberate practice. These two last concepts will be discussed in the following paragraphs.
The environment is extremely energetic. After some time I thought it would have been a good idea to branch out and go to different parks and enter in tournaments, which ended up being a good idea because after every game you learn something new. To win a tournament you have to be physically and mentally ready for the challenge. You can tell who a strong player is by there actions.You always want to remain is a calm focused mindset and on the balls of your feet to be ready for the shot and prepare yourself to hit the ball back
Another fun lifetime sport to play at any age is tennis. Tennis tends to be a highly active sport and will require a bit more energy than walking and playing golf. Tennis is played on a court that is fenced off to prevent balls from flying away. The court has a square that the players and ball must stay inside and the square is separated by a net that the ball must go over. It is a game that can be played by two or four people at one given time. The first score is worth 15 points, the second is worth 15 and the last is worth 10. Once a player reaches 40 points and then wins one last round he/she wins the match. The required equipment is a tennis racquet and tennis balls. Females generally wear skirts and a loosely fitting shirt for better arm range of motion, while males wear shorts or jeans and a loosely fitting t-shirt. Playing volleyball is fun. you can learn different thing such as : spiking, passing, setting, digging, and serving. all these things are required for volleyball and you have to know them. in volleyball spiking is one of my favorite things. spiking is where a person passes the ball to the setter and the setter sets the ball outside and the outside hitter goes up and hits the ball. volleyball is another sport that can get you shape. volleyball is a sport that keeps going. from my experience in volleyball is one my favorite sports. volleyball is good outdoor activity to play with friends.

Playing outside isn’t a sport, but it is an activity that you can do to benefit your body. Going outside and passing a football or just playing tag is good for your body. You need to get at least 60 minutes of outdoor physical activity a day. Your body will get fat and lazy, but if you play outside or do something to get your blood pressure high and stay active instead of just sitting around and watching TV or playing video games, you will be energized and healthy.
Playing sports may help children develop new friends. Some people against youth sports might say that if a child is not that great at a sport, he will have to sit out and not get a chance to play. Only in adult sports athletes don’t get to participate. In youth sports, every athlete is required playing time. Although I believe that sports help children develop friends. Participating in sports has helped children make friends by 87% (Doc 1). Playing sports provides pleasure for children and gives them an opportunity to meet new people and acquire new friendships. Children playing sports find it a lot easier to make friends rather than children not involved in sports.
