Time flies and with comes many changes. It’s quite astonishing that how much change from modernization has brought over time. Not just modernization to be the most influential but also the cultural integration that has been happening. Changes have come forth in many practices of a culture but the motive of this paper is to look in to the shifts in consumer food preferences, in the context of food consumption from home cooking or eating out such as restaurants or local diners etc. I am a Bangladeshi and from Bangladesh’s perspective it is quite difficult to explain the change, hence I would also prefer adding western countries like America to make the topic more liable. Other aspects will include the type of education levels, education system, and the role of education, as well as the constructs of family and religion within the family and the effects of Asian Indian Americans on pop culture.

Learning specific knowledge and understanding of other cultures was my major problem because it is very difficult to learn and understand a new language. So in order for me to overcome these challenges, I changed my perspective of that challenges itself. I started to encourage myself that I am capable to learn more about other cultures. So I googled online search and watched different video clips of the cultures of interest. Also, I spent more time with different people from different cultures. I have realized that whenever I ask questions I was learning more.
