Society and culture are like two sides of a coin.
➢ Society: - Human beings who live at certain locations and corporate with other human beings sharing the same elements in the same culture.
➢ Culture :- All the people that learn or know how to do something, to use something, to produce something, and to have faith as they become mature and live their lives with their family in their groups to where they were born. The functions of the culture are Motivation, Identity, Value Systems, Differentiations, communication, and perception. The components of the Culture are Material culture and non material culture. ➢ Non Material Culture saves the software of the society shared by the members of the society and the elements of the non material culture are Symbols, Norms, Values, Beliefs, Languages, and Religion.
➢ Symbols are something that you can see and touch it can be words that you read, objects that you can see and touch, Sounds that you can hear. It represents something to which people will know its meaning and which they will use to communicate with other people.
➢ Norms are rules shared that will teach people how to act in a certain situation. Norms are not behaviors they are expectations that you should expect for a behavior like Folkways, Mores, and Laws.
➢ Values are shared beliefs to what is good or bad, and right or wrong.
➢ Beliefs are determined statements that people believe it is true. It is the statement that the human beings of a culture believe that this statement is true.
➢ Language is a way of communication with one another; it is a system of words that allow you to communicate. All the cultures have their own languages though some countries have mixed
