Jingdong Group was founded by Liu Qiangdong in the beginning of 2004. Since it established, Jingdong has committed to providing pleasant online shopping experience for its consumers, built up the "authentic" concept of fake zero tolerance. Because of that, it quickly grow to become the largest 3C online shopping platform in China’s B2C market. It is one of the most popular and influential online shopping sites in the field of e-commerce in China. Currently, Jingdong has 25 million registered users throughout the country and more than 6000 suppliers has established collaborations with Jingdong. It sells home appliances, electronics, digital communications, figures products and related accessories, computers, home furnishing, clothing, jewelries, baby products, books, food and other 11 categories of tens of brands in million kinds of high-quality goods. There are more than 300 thousands orders every day and more than 50 million people visit the website in daily.
In May 2014, the Jingdong Group was officially listed in the U.S. Nasdaq Stock Exchange market. It became a large-scale integrated business platform of China which first and successfully listing in the United States. It was also ranked in the world 's top ten internet companies. In July of 2015, Jingdong was selected by its virtue of high-growth Nasdaq 100 and Nasdaq 100 average
