Starting my first job at CVS was a eye opener in learning how to work together, learning the store and the employees. The positive in this process is that you have the expreince teaching you ins and outs so the transtiton into your positon will become a lot easier. Being able to be trained do a lot in the store comes with good times and bad times, so the negetive aspect of this was I was put into a postion to do customer service which I didn’t feel comfortable doing but if you want the job you have to put your fears aside and learn from those who has done it before, so after two weeks of training I got the hang of what this position had consist of. The moral of this story is I had a lot of help from my co-workers which allowed me to settle
It was only a seasonal job, so they weren't too picky with their hiring and within a month I was hired and put to training. Training was fun, it was I working like everybody but somewhat supervised. After the training I'll be honest, I hated working there. I couldn't stand having to put clothes away for four hours and barely being able to talk to anybody besides a passerby customer who would politely brush me off every time I asked the required, "Do you need any help with anything? No? Okay, let me know!" It got old real quick. I missed the constant interaction I got with the kids I used to
My father has been working there for about twelve years now. I got to work alongside my father; he is a very smart man. He taught me the key components of being a good worker and person. He always told me that the key to the top in any job is to listen to the manager(s) and not be afraid to ask questions. Also, he told me that not everyone is going to like you but that shouldn’t matter because it’s a job, you’re not there to make friends you’re there to make money.
Druring the summer of 2013 I worked at U-haul. During my time there I learned many skills which are transferable between jobs. One such skill is the ability to help customers effectivly so they leave with a good impresion of the company. While customers might have not gotten what they neded due to all the moving vans being reserved I was frequently able to find an altenate solution that benifited the customer so they left with satisfaction. Working at U-haul also bolsterd my ability to effectively multitask in an fast paced and demanding setting.
When I entered the workforce at 16, there weren’t many high paying jobs available for someone with absolutely no previous work experience. The only job available for me was in the fast food industry, so my first job was at TacoBell. Working at TacoBell, exposed me to my very first management style.
I was honestly very happy reading your post. Your excitement ant passion for the NFL made me happy not because I like the NFL because I don’t, it was because I always find inspiring when someone has a passion for something. I think that every human being should have a passion or a hobby something that makes happy because life is too stressful at times, and it is good to have an escaping source. As well as you, I have no idea that the NFL used the NPV to determine how to choose their players, I did think that they had some type of financial system to make the selections.
Working for Morgan Stanley I was the youngest cashier they ever had which presented several challenges for me which included being confronted about my age, comprehension and experience. I pride myself on being able to not only operate professionally and gracefully with difficult co-workers but through my actions and discipline I upheld the highest standards of transparency which in turn earned their respect. Another past experience would be the time I spent as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks. In this position I was responsible for consistent customer service provided by all employees, recognition of employee’s achievements and overall shift success. Throughout my time I also took advantage of every opportunity I could and became a certified Barista, Learning Coach (Trainer) and Coffee
C100 improved our basic skills and knowledge base, in order to succeed at CGSC and at future FORSCOM Units. C100 had three sections: thinking and problem solving; individual development; and communications. C120 helped me to become a more critical and creative thinker. This block enabled me to improve my decision-making and leadership skills by executing three practical exercises. These exercises were, problem solving, a Gaza Strip study, and dissecting the Army Warfighting Challenges. C130 focused on my personal development while at CGSC and the future at operational units. It helped me plan and focus my priorities for the next 10 years by establishing an individual development plan (IDP). C170 enabled me to become a better communicator
The best experience that would reflect positively on my ability to succeed would be working at Alpha Chiropractic. I first joined Alpha at the age of 16 and continue to be a loyal employee. When I first joined the company, I lacked on all sort of skills. The first skills I learned at Alpha was communication and team work. Communication and team work are the principle characteristic on successfully working with your peers. When I obtained a higher position, I acquired the knowledge of time management. There was often a lot of pressure from the doctors, attorneys, coworkers and even the CEO. I learned to draw plans and set up priorities on the work load. While at this position I also learned patience. Patience was an absent skill when I first
When I began my new job at my current facility taking the role of the trainee was hard to get use to. Although I felt competent in my role in my new I had to learn to adjust to the fact that I was not yet .I had to learn new techniques such as motivational
while attending junior school , high school and community college. Each job took me out of my comfort zone by meeting new people whom had different ethics, work experience, and financial backgrounds than my own. My first job was at The Whale's Tale Ice Cream Shop in the Hamptons, an exclusive vacation destination in New York. The following summer I put in an application at the Vine Street Cafe which is a high-end restaurant in the Hamptons. That same summer I worked in the morning shift as a busboy for the Chequit Inn. From this experience I learned that hard work and dedication are key factors to being successful. Those principles have helped me excel at each job I've
It has already been a whole semester since I started The Preuss School UCSD and my experience here has been great. My grades have been maintain and I feel so comfortable talking to so many of my fellow students here, 6th through 12th, everyone is so kind and so easy to talk to. In addition all of my teachers have been very supportive and extremely helpful. Middle school has been a big difference from elementary school, but I love it here, and I know that I will be the rest of my middle/high school years here.
Thank you for the question. Firt of all I would ike to say couple words about the course. When I saw it in the list of my program courses I was not feeling any excitement, opposite from that I was very bitter about the CVW course. Obviously it is because I am not Christian, but the rea reason is that I did not know much about religion and had no desire to learn, well, people call it ignorance. Hovewer, so far it is the best course I have studied in GCU! Honestly, I was not excecting it to be so interesting, challenging and the most important thing about it is that I really had to “dig into myself” to find some answers, it helped me realize couplr things. It did not change my worldview and I still have same opinion about religion, but so much
Patients are central to healthcare delivery, yet their perspectives and input has been rarely considered by providers [1]. Over the last two decades this is beginning to change, and patient-centered care is drawing increasing interest. This shift in focus, from provider-based to patient-based, is highlighting the importance of incorporating patient’s needs and perspectives into care delivery. Furthermore, patients are becoming more engaged in their care, coinciding with the onset of patient-centered healthcare as a major domain of quality by many healthcare providers.
As time went on, things slowly started to get better. With my improved work habits, I slowly began to catch up on school. Also, I began to know my coworkers better, and I get to spend more time with my friend there. Moreover, after knowing how the store functions and learning all the menu items, the work became easier as well. I started to really enjoy this job despite getting some wrist injuries from scooping ice cream.
My Job at J.C.Penny was one of the first learning experiences that I had in the workforce. I learned so much allow me to explain. I started as a sales support associate and as a sales support associate I was in charge of offering items to clients and giving those clients any help as required amid the sales procedure. Also, to create and keep up positive client connections to guarantee clients retention. As a Sales supports associate I was required to met organizational objectives, (for example, those identified with deals) and work inside organization rules and directions at all times. This was just the tip of the iceberg for my customer experience exposure.
