Every day, millions of people use social media to either converse with their peers or to post pictures. There has been much discussion on whether or not individuals should be prosecuted for rude statements made on social media. Individuals should not be prosecuted for derogative statements made on social media. Although some may say that prosecuting cyberbullies for statements made on social media is beneficial, it would have many negative consequences. Prosecuting individuals for statements made on the internet would discourage personal responsibility, be a violation of the first amendment, and squander tax payers' money.
On 2/16/18, at approximately 1941, I responded to 1241 Lake Lucerne Cir, Winter Springs, Seminole County in reference to a battery. Upon arrival I spoke to Michael Morris (victim-w/m 12/23/1977) and Heather Morris (witness w/f 07/01/1980), who informed me that Scott Neely (suspect w/m 11/22/1979) attacked Michael in their driveway.

On Wednesday January 25, 2017, I (Officer R. Holcomb) was dispatched by C.O. B. Coleman to report to 302 Freedom Way in reference to a complaint of trouble with subject. On arrival I spoke with Ms. Valencia Jones, she stated that her ex-boyfriend Leon Boyd is harrassing her.
On Friday, August 12, 2016 at approximately 1000 hours, I assisted the patrol division in locating a burglary suspect that entered the residence of 1023 Barn Oak Court. The complainant/victim Nicole Smith stated to the Conyers Commutation that when she entered the front door of the residence, she heard an unidentified noise in the back bedroom. As she entered the rear bedroom the subject exited the residence through the rear window.
In 2013, a man, investigators named the “Sexual Cyber Terrorist” extorted over 350 women by hacking into their email accounts and baiting them into giving him nude photos. If the women did not comply with his demand he threatened to hack into their social media accounts and posting photos that he allegedly already had of them. Another ploy to obtain these photos from women would be to pose as close friends and get them to send nude photos. After a thorough investigation the FBI found more than 3,000 nude to seminude photos of victims. The “Sexual Cyber Terrorist”, Karen (Gary) Kazaryan was sentenced to 5 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to all charges.
On Thursday, August 31, 2017 at approximately 2232 hours, I was dispatched to a residence across the street from 2220 University St in reference of a suspicious person inside of a black truck. On 06/02/17, at 5:40pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to 1126 Obetz Road on an injury-possible dangerous or vicious dog, owner known. I arrived at the location and met with Ben Moore and Kaylee Baker. Ms. Baker stated on 05/30/17 at approximately 8:30pm, she was outside in their garage, moving items in and out of the house that they just recently purchased. Ms. Baker stated that she saw the next door neighbor (1118 Obetz Road) daughter outside on skates walking their dogs. Ms. Baker waved at the girl and continued moving items in and out of the house. As Ms. Baker was moving towards her vehicle, she heard something behind her. Ms. Baker turns around and sees a grey and white pit bull coming towards her. On Wednesday, 10/11/2016, I, Deputy Stacy Stark #1815 received a telephone call from Elaine B. Green (F/W, DOB: 07/03/1962). Green advised, her mother, Evelyn A. Yates (F/W, DOB: 06/19/2016) was a victim of a theft from her residence. Green requested I take the police report because I was familiar with the parties involved due to a report I took on 10/07/2016. See Case Number: 2016-7575.
