Life can be as negative or positive as you want it to be. Nothing either bad or good can last forever. My complete name is Anahi Angelica Tiburcio Loyola. I am a senior at Vista High School. I am from a town name San Jorge Nuchita,huajuapan de Leon Oaxaca Mexico.Five years ago my parents took a decision for me, a really good one I can say. I was excited about all the changes. I thought scarcity would disappear .My dad came to the United States two years before us. He had been coming forward and back every two years to visit us on holidays only. I just felt horrible and just hugged him and kissed him on the forehead. In my throat i felt that something needed it go through but it could not. The weather changed and got hot. There were not big trees with shadows so we had to wait under some branches. Twelve hours -- that is right -- we walked twelve hours until we got to the place where we waited for six hours. A truck got there and picked us up. The guys that lead us bought us some sodas and we drank them while we were laying down in the back of the truck. I cannot describe the feeling when I saw my dad. After all the suffering, pain, hunger, thirst -- I knew it was worth it. When I saw my brothers and my parents hugging each other I thought that any obstacle that were presented in life would be much easier with my family. That same night. my uncles and my dad took us where we lived for about a year. We lived with his friend´s family. There was only one bathroom and we had some problems because of that. We were six and they were four only. My dad started to think about renting an entire apartment, but we could not because my mom did not have a job. My dad was the only one who paid the rent which was $500 for a month. He was responsible to buy food and pay for all of our other needs. My brothers, sister and I were attending school.
