“Dancing On My Own” Nowadays there exists many songs about love, broken hearts, and relationships that don’t last long. As a result of all these topics to write a song the singer, Robyn Plant, decided to write “Dancing on My Own.” This electro pop ballad is the first official single from Swedish singer-songwriter Robyn 's fifth studio album, Body Talk Pt. 1 (“Song facts”). The song was written and produced by Robyn and Patrick Berger. They came up with this amazing song, one of my favorites, which is about a girl who lost the love of her life, and is trying to do anything to catch the attention of her ex-lover. This essay is basically a brief analysis of what the lyrics of the song really means, and what Robyn is really trying to express with this song. What Robyn is probably expressing with “Dancing on My Own” would be the thoughts that a girl has while is destroying herself watching his man with another woman; Perhaps, any girl at some point of her life could relate to, but let’s analyze the first verse of the song.

Does she love you better than I can?
It 's a big black sky over my town

This verse does not really need much interpretation. Clearly the girl is asking herself the typical questions of someone who is heartbroken. When Robyn said “The big black sky” (line 3) we can assume that it is the representation of the depression…
