Bengal and the Punjab congregations voted in favor of the allotment of their individual areas. Sindh Assembly and Baluchistan Jirga chose to pick Pakistan. A choice was held in the North West Frontier Province from sixth to seventeenth of July. Larger part of the voters were accounted for to have voted for Pakistan.
Mountbatten traveled to Karachi to exchange energy to the recently made condition of Pakistan on fourteenth August 1947. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was confirmed as the first Governor General of Pakistan. Liaquat Ali Khan assumed control as the first Prime Minister. Domain of the condition of Pakistan was partitioned into two sections. These two sections known as East Pakistan and West Pakistan, were isolated from one another
In the year of 1777 and 1778, the Continental Army stayed at Valley Forge (Washington’s Winter Camp). Valley Forge was only 18 miles from Philadelphia, and was a difficult place to live since it was during the winter. Some soldiers stayed at Valley Forge. While others were tired of staying at the camp and started to quit. If you were a soldier, would you have quit Washington’s Winter Camp? If I was a soldier, I would not quit because there was not a lot of dying people, Washington is getting help from the Committee, and valuable things like freedom is worth fighting for so I don’t want to be a “ summer soldier.”
In an effort to mobilize the Arabs, the British encouraged two leaders to take charge. Sharif Hussein and his two sons were seen to the British as important Arab leaders who could provoke change within the empire and who could rally a following. Sharif was a political leader in the City of Mecca and was among those who believed in Pan-Arabism Nationalism and hoped to liberate the Arab community. Letters were sent back and forth between Shaif and the British officials. The agreement was that in return for an Ottoman revolt the British would provide aid and would recognize the independence of all the Arab territories in the region. It was made clear that any concession of land to outside Middle Easter powers was not part of the agreement. After
The reactions from the people during the crash was somewhat the same as the events from the Bible. In Deuteronomy 31:8 stated “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you: he will never leave you nor forsake you, do not be afraid; do not be discourage.” (“Bible Gateway”). When Moses said this to Joshua, he tried to encourage Joshua when he had to go with the people of Israel, that he will be there, always trust him and do not be afraid. When the stock market crashed, people were panicking and didn’t know what to do (Stock). Another verse that relates to the event is John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, But take heart! I have overcome the world.” This verse
I believe that the Revolutionary War was not actually as revolutionary as the name suggests because, although some of the documents suggest that major change was brought about after the war, the majority of the documents made me come to the conclusion that there were not as many results of the war as widely expected. A prime example is Document 6, where an African American valedictorian questions the possibilities of him getting a job among white people. He is a well-educated young adult, but with no jobs available to him, he must enter servitude. Another reason supporting my claim is the fact that in Document 8 it took more than 140 years for women to have the same voting rights as men (made a law in the 19th Amendment). The definition of

In 1876,1877 and 1899, treaty 6,7 and 8 were signed between the Indians and Europeans. When the Indians signed these treaties, they were promised: education that the Europeans would provide, the right to pursue hunting, fishing and trapping, medicine and hospitality, be able to return to original territory, a sustainable amount of rations, and money for their agricultural success. However, the Europeans ended up using their power to take advantage over the Aboriginal People. Many challenges occurred for the Indians because of these treaties. The Europeans no longer allowed the Indians to hunt, fish or trap, but instead demanded them to farm. This was a big problem because the Indians did not know how to farm and the land that was given to them
The revolutionary war was a fight for independence and created America but some people think the revolutionary war was not so revolutionary. I believe the revolutionary war was not revolutionary. In document four, the data showed that there were less wealthy and less well to do in the northern states and in the middle states there were less wealthy between 1765 and 1785. This shows that America’s economics and sustainability were lowered and not as good as it used to be. In document 6, in 1819 a African American valedictorian gave a speech about how no one will employ him, white boys won’t work with him, and white clerks won’t associate with him. He said, “Can you be surprised by my discouragement.” Which shows colored people still have not

Although the fourteenth colony, Nova Scotia was an exception as they refused to join the Revolution. Many factors contribute to the neutrality of the population such as religious influence, lack of, and economic ties.
The land of Texas, explored only by Indian tribes at the time, had long been disputed over by several countries interested in north American colonies, in which Spain took the lead. In order to colonize the land, the Spanish believed their first step must be to establish a mission system, in which natives would convert to Catholicism. In theory, this would allow an easier colonization process; however, the attempt was a failure and Texas, once again, became useless. All the while, Mexico was gaining its independence and soon began to encourage immigration to the stagnant colony. This became an opportune time for Americans to settle in the area as well and the territory became quickly populated, but just as soon, slavery was immediately outlawed.
The northern regions tended to have more religious beliefs. The southern regions tended believe in a church and state separation. According to "The Articles of Agreement, Springfield, Massachusetts in 1636" (Doc D), whoever entered Massachusetts had to comply with the certain articles and orders that shaped a community around God and the share of the land. The “Articles of Agreement, Springfield, Massachusetts, 1636’’ is valid document because it was basic laws. As a result of “The Articles of Agreement Springfield, Massachusetts, 1636’’, the northern region became more religiously involved with society, causing the one region to split into two. Because Virginia was becoming more of an economical region such as its tobacco farming, it
I believe that the Revolution was indeed revolutionary, because of the information that I gathered. The following is an essay composed to explain why I believe that the Revolution was revolutionary.
Not only did the colonization of America give Britain a sense of glory, but the colonists as well. Opportunity for commoners, farmers and merchants to expand their practices and gain profit was enough incentive to settle in the New World, but the pride in taking part in the expansion their country was also encouraging. The motivations for colonists to leave their homeland and start their lives in America was not to establish a new country, but rather strengthen Britain. This ideology held true until the repercussions of the French and Indian War illuminated a need for criticism of British rule on the colonies, and The Enlightenment paved a new way of thinking which encouraged the independence movement that would result in the founding of The
The 1790s and 1800s was a time surrounded by partisan tension and increased political participation and discussion in America. This was largely due to development of the Federalist and Republican parties in the 1790s. The establishment of these parties helped fuel expansion of the public sphere, as advocates of both sides wish to air their opinions on the other. This became especially true of Republicans, who became increasingly more critical of Federalists ideas and values. Eventually this led to the Federalist party, under the power of John Adams, to pass the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798. These pieces of legislation not only censored American citizens, but made the lives of immigrants harder by threatening dissenters with deportation and
Americans in the early nineteenth century had been, or atleast seemed to be very desent at solving their political problems with compromise. Compromise had been less and less effective at settling these politcal disputes the closer to 1900 it became. It seemed to be revativly impossible by 1860. This impossibity arouse from the North and the South adpoting impervious opinions about politics and slavery that heavily opposed each other. Senator Henry Clay, the "Father of Compromise" clearly stated and believed that it was "utterly impractical" that South Carolina ever wated to suceceed from the United States(Document A).
Pakistan is one of the poor countries of the world with a high rate of increase in the population. On the other hand the growth rate is decreasing due to water shortages. We will need to bring under our use additional lands for cultivation. Pakistan has already slided from water happy country to a water scarce country. This is going to be a cause of social and political riots, which are not at all good for the security of the country.
