The times that try men's souls Freedom is defined as the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. The soldiers in the American revolution demonstrated this at the Battle of Valley Forge when facing starvation, disease, and hypothermic temperatures. I have re-enlisted into the Continental army because the government is counting on me, I am one of the few healthy enough to fight, and I want to remain loyal to George Washington and my country. I am joining the army for 9 more months because the government is relying on the me and my fellow soldiers and I feel that as an American soldier I should be there for my country in its time of need.
