*cue music: Dear Future Husband by Meghan Trainor*
Dear future roommate / Here's a few things / You'll need to know if / You wanna know me better and be B.F.F.s
Tidy up your space / I will do the same / And don't forget to respect my personal privacy / Cause if you'll treat me right / I'll be the perfect roomie / Fixing your laptop / Share, sharing my food
You want that 4.0 / Oh, baby, so do I / So we can primal-scream together on the Sunday night / I heard college is tough / But we will sure survive
All jokes aside, I am so very excited to meet you! I am Esther from Toronto. Fun fact: I am proficient in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese, so I can teach you another language! I can also take you to the best bubble tea places and authentic Taiwanese
One day, Father and Mother wolf heard something outside of their den and when they looked out, they found a naked human baby outside. Mother wolf adopted the hairless "man-cub". Shere Khan arrived, demanding the man-cub for his meal, but was soon driven off by all of the wovles. Raksha (the mother wolf), named the man-cub Mowgli the Frog because of his hairlessness.
Unauthorized immigrants in the United States of American border control has being a big problem and concern with regards to national security. There are a lot of people from various countries that want to migrate into United States for so many individual reasons known to them. The United States is a country known for countless jobs which other nations don’t have. A great number of immigrants, however, want to move away from their government reason because the government doesn’t treat them right just the way they want to be treated. For that reason, they move to the United States because they want

Today I wrote this letter to introduce myself to you for the purpose of improving our collaboration during this semester. As a first son and a fifth child in the family, I’ve received many loves from my parents and my four older sisters. My family migrated from Vietnam to the United States five years ago and carried our new hopes and dreams to this place. I was having a tough time in maintaining my native language and learning English at the same time. I don’t have any interest in reading books because I‘ve never really enjoy any book that I’ve read in the past, or just because I haven’t read as much book as i thought I did. My goal for this year is to past every classes with an A. The reason is I don’t want to lose my financial aid, and
“I have to move into my dorm early tomorrow, but I’ll talk to you soon. Just keep thinking of what makes you genuinely
I’m writing you because I would like to request for a roommate change regarding a particular person named Jacob Mackey. Jacob Mackey and I have past encounters that were not so good. He falsely impersonated my friends , and have a severe obsession with me. I’m very intimidated by him, in which being his roommate will create a lot of tension between the both of us. Moreover, if I am roommate(s) with him, I will be extremely concerned my about safety and security. For this reason, I kindly requesting to have a roommate change immediately. If you have any further questions regarding this matter, please email me.
Your response is very precise, especially about levels of prevention. When it comes to health policy that is related to health promotion, I couldn’t agree more. Because with affordable act as it mention in title IV “ the act will promote prevention, wellness, and public health” for what I understand, this means people will be inform preventative care such as routine check up to be able to detect any disease in early stage. In a long run, I believe this will also be cost effective, if pt. patient will be seen routinely and disease is diagnosis, the care will be provided and the effectiveness of treatment is higher chance of being successful. For example, diabetic patient that was seen routinely, she/he was informed ahead able the
I like that have narrow down your research and kept it on particular topic without add too much to it. There are a lot of different component that could affect Community Colleges that focus on their students having higher retention rate than other institutions that are not supportive in student success programs, but you are researching just colleges not students. I admire that you are focus on your hypothesis. Looking forward to reading more.
I promise you that I am extremely easy to live with. There are just a few things that I ask from you in our roommate relationship: communication, honesty, and open-mindedness. These are all things that you can expect from me as well. Over time, I think that we will be able to get a feel of what it’s like to live with each other, and when we do, I think it would be best for us to discuss any rules that need to be established. I’m the type of person that likes to be straightforward when communicating how I feel, and I think that helps to avoid conflict. I am also very openminded and that has a lot to do with where I come from. Hawaii is known for its diversity, so don’t expect judgement from me. I’m always going to be willing to look
This letter decribes me because I am the type of person who likes to have things planned out in advance. I do not like chaotic spur of the moment situations because they make me anxious. An example of a time where I planned everything out is, last summer I went on a meditation retreat and packed a month ahead of time. The retreat was not until July, but I started packing in June. After packing and unpacking, and repacking several dozen times I finally knew I had everything I could possible need for my retreat. I had a checklist and made sure everything on it was checked off. In this situation you can see that I really like having things planned out in
How are you? I hope this letter finds you well. My homesickness is creeping towards me like an ominous cloud foreboding a thunderstorm. It’s frightening me, but I am sure the storm will pass quickly. The first sense of these feelings were ignited when I was walking to my dorm and it started pouring rain. In Southern California, where I was born and raised, rain is scarce. Deerfield has been great, but I yearn for the salty smell in the air from the ocean and the feeling of the sun on my skin. Thousands of question race through my mind as I recall my time back home. Was the move to Deerfield a good decision? Am I going to make it out alive during the winter? Should I have came this far? As I am writing this letter, the answer to all those questions is a gargantuan yes. I know the commitment I made to attend Deerfield Academy is miles away from my comfort zone, literally, but growth and
This is Shuchang Lou. I come from Nanjing, which is one of the biggest and oldest city in China. I am the single child in my family and that is a common phenomenon in new generation nowadays. My parents always encourage me to try different things, meet different people, learn different culture, and live a different life. I used to be a nurse in China for four years. My work is to take care of cancer patients in hospital day after day. My life was repeated every day. Now, I am in here in America! This is my adventure!
As I woke up that faithful Monday morning, rain fell in torrents from the sky. It had been raining all weekend, and it would not stop no matter how hard I begged. My family and I had stayed in a hotel near to my new college for a few days before the move-in day. I felt apprehensive about the whole situation, and the rain did not help this feeling. As the upperclassmen loaded up my belongings onto carts, my parents and siblings followed me up to my new dorm. Then, as I opened the door for the first time, I flinched at seeing my new room. The room was tiny compared to my bedroom at home. On top of that, I am only able to utilize half of the space.
Throughout the last half of the century, our society has watched the divorce rate of married couples skyrocket to numbers previously not seen. Although their has been a slight decline in divorce rates, “half of first marriages still were expected to dissolve before death.” (Stacy, 15, 1991) Whatever happened to that meaningful exchange of words, “until death do us part,” uttered by the bride and groom to each other on their wedding day? What could have been the cause of such inflated divorce rates? Perhaps young married couples are not mature enough to be engaged in such a trremendous responsibility, or, maybe, the couples really do not know each other as well as they thought. Possibly, they have been blinded by infatuation rather than by
What's mine is yours. Having lived a year in a student hostel I understood this phrase was the best to describe my first year student life. We shared everything: all of bright spots, all of difficult moments, all of the books and all of the cakes. My roommates are my best friends now and I trust them as I would myself. I believe amazing adventures and close friendship are waiting for us too! Also I believe, my dear roommate, you’ll get at least one new hobby living with me. I promise I’ll share to you with my frenzy for mountains. Oh, that’s really amazing! I’m a participant of the university tourist all around team(sports tourism university team member) and every weekend we get to go to incredibly picturesque places of Zailiyskiy Alatau.
