Death is the natural end of life. It may be hard to come to terms with something like death, but life as we know it wouldn’t exist without it. We know deep down that life is short, and that death will happen to all of us. It’s something we all just have to accept and will never have control over. Why can’t we live forever? Immortality would be nice, but it doesn’t work that way. I guess what I fear the most is being someone’s science project as I’m laid upon the table as my organs are removed from my body. Maybe, I fear the thought of being placed in a box and then put into the earth. Death is like an unknown call that you try to avoid or don’t want to answer. But, you can’t ignore it. It can just creep up and take you without you even being prepared. You could be the sweetest person and have goals in life, but I guess that doesn’t matter when it’s your time. For example, Marina Keegan, who was a young author and who could have become the voice of her generation, died tragically five days after graduating from Yale. Someone who had a promising future and her life hadn’t even started yet.
