There are plenty of staff members that are employed by Debenhams and they need to ensure that they carry out their job that they have been assign to correctly, which means that they have to make sure that they do their job at a decent level, or else they can put not only their own lives at risk, but also the other people’s lives, …show more content…

Their job is to simply make sure about the safety of the other employees that are working there and the customers. To begin with, the Fire Marshal has to comprehend what the role of his position is and he also needs to ensure that they know how the fire evacuation process works so that he can get the public to safety. His role as a Fire Marshal is very important since he will be taking everyone out to their safety, in the case of a fire outbreak. That being said, he has to know the (fire) safety procedure and have the capacity to get all the customers and employees alike to the fire exit points safely. It is essential for business like Debenhams to have a fire marshal so that they can guarantee the safety of not only their workers, but also of their clients that they will be in there, so that they can feel safe knowing that they are safe in
