I go to sleep wondering what did they get me for Christmas or what is the true meaning of Christmas, I wake up a little faster than usually, which gave me a head rush ignoring the head rush I darted to the Christmas tree in the living room, looking at the lit Christmas tree warms me to the soul, the fresh smell of milk and cookies, and the best part is the joy on the kids faces when they’re opening presents with much haste to find out what they have received for Christmas. I was ten years old when I got my first tablet and it meant a lot to me because I was and I still am a fan of games, mainly console games such as Xbox, Playstation. It was my turn to open a present, so I pick up a rectangular prism about the size of a medium child’s book, as i tore one of the corners off I saw a logo that said INSIGNIA. It was about one inch thick, ten inches wide, and five inches in length. As soon as I got it out of the box I got the charger out and ran to the nearest outlet to plug the tablet in to let it charge. Once it charged up a flare of light upon my face I saw the …show more content…
It has been used for over three years and is mostly orange but also has green biohazard symbols and black streak which makes certain objects on the board pop or make the look three dimensional. The first time I rode my snowboard was when I was ten, the hill was about ten degrees steep and forty feet long, I was freighted going down it but even more when there was a ramp add a the bottom launching me about six feet in the air. When I ride my snowboard it feels as if I was gliding through the air or boogie boarding in Cape Cod. Every year I get better and better, this board means alot to me because I will use it in the year 2018 through
While reading novels readers can relate to the characters challenges. In the realistic fiction novel Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen, the reader can relate to challenges that the characters in the book have. While we don’t have the same challenges, Juli Baker deals with the lose of the sycamore tree, while I deal with being too hard on myself. First, the character Juli Baker, from Flipped, has the challenge of dealing with the lose of the sycamore tree.

I was eight years old when I went to my local elementary school for a Three Kings Day celebration, which is very popular in my heavily Spanish-populated city. By pure luck, I was chosen in a raffle to go backstage and choose a gift along with nine other kids. Hundreds of colorful balls, board games, and toys of different shapes and sizes and I had the choice. I was living every child’s best dream. Suddenly, I was attracted to an odd looking, purple box about two by four feet, with a crazy white-haired guy on the cover. I grabbed it and went off stage where I was greeted by the surprised looks of my friends. “Of all the toys you could have chosen...you chose a school game?!”

We celebrate Christmas holidays and Easter holidays. However, there is a third holiday, a third observance, a third sacred event that is just as central to our understanding of what it means to be a Christian and what it means to belong to the church.
Contrary to common belief, you can actually learn a lot over Christmas break. Over break, I learned that everything is not always as it sees, and to not overreact about something without having enough knowledge. To explain what I learned, I am going to tell a little story about a Christmas party that my dad's side of the family had.
My Christmas break started off rough but, it got better as the days moved on.
It's the last week of the first semester of school, and every day seems to get longer. Christmas break is only a few days away, and going to school becomes impossible. Every teacher crams hundreds of tests and quizzes into the final days before break.
December 22nd, half day and beginning of Christmas Break, which basically means “we’re going to give you two weeks off from school and let you miss two more Mondays in a row to make you miss summer even more.” Yes, Christmas has come and gone again and now we all yearn for it to come again so we can lounge around- I mean...spend time with family and friends cause we all love each other so much that we would go broke buying gifts for them to represent our love! Christmas time is the time to spend with family at freezing amusement park, tease each other through presents, a time to be hoarded up in your room while watching your favorite shows. Us Texans can just feel the nonexistent snow crunching under our shoes as the icy wind blows in our face as we test out our new gifts, hopefully without breaking anything.
Do you like a kick in Xmas? Somebody thinks that it it Halloween. Somebody thinks that it is Xmas. I think that nightmare before Xmas is Halloween themed more than Xmas.

According to Biography.com, “The Canterbury Tales is by far Chaucer’s best known and most acclaimed work. “Out of the twenty-nine characters, I chose the Wife of Baths Tale, and the Pardoners Prologue, plus Tale, along with the broad selection of the General Prologue. The Canterbury Tales challenges the two institutes of the time, the Church, and the patriarchy using satire.
13 is going to my great-uncle’s house on my birthday, Christmas Eve, just like every year. The Christmas tree is bright and colorful, with all the presents underneath its light. The presents under the tree are for Christmas and my birthday as well. Many of my relatives are here: aunts, uncles, my parents, great-aunts and uncles, and they sit by the couches as they arrive, catching up on all the news, while I go upstairs to play with my six-year-old cousin, Melody. We play whatever she wants, but I teach her some games that I know as well. When it is time, everyone eats dinner, where there are a variety of Chinese foods some I like and some I don’t, but that’s alright with me. Gradually, the cups fill with wine and apple cider, and the conversation
It is perhaps the most fundamental thing that all men have in common. We all want to become happy. In the opening lines of Nicomachean Ethics, Aristotle says, “Every art and every inquiry, and similarly every action and pursuit, is thought to aim at some good; and for this reason the good has rightly been declared to be that at which all things aim.”
It was the birth of the one and only son of God, holy baby Jesus. This story will be following along with my point of view as the innkeeper. As this historical story goes on you will learn why many people love to celebrate this historical event on Christmas. Here is my story, my journey, and my experience on that night.
